This one in today from Yandina, Qld.

Looks rather large to be a print (one would think).... However certainly 'looks' like the shape of a foot regardless!

The location is a hot area.

Hi Dean, how are you.

I want to know about the ground where the print was found. was in hard, compact ground. The reason is that if the ground was
made up of loose sand & rocks, then (assuming it was the big guy) the impression should be deeper, at least an inch or so given
its huge weight.

Please don't let Mr Gilroy see this...otherwise he'll be claiming incontrovertible proof of giants

Ha. That's right, one of Gilboys 6 metre giants from Northern Qld..... cough...

Not sure about the hardness of the ground. It is normally quite hard out there, however this impression looks as though it was made on previously wet ground and then rained on. I can grasp a Yowie growing up to perhaps 10ft, as reported, however the norm is usually 6-8ft for the large variety.

The squaring off of the toes seems to be common among a lot of prints, i wonder whether this is due to curling up of the toes as oppose to relaxed splayed toes, i tried it with my own feet..curled up toes leaves a squared off impression, which is then interpreted as a hoax...just a thought

Im no expert on this but it does seem too large to me and to be honest, that just looks like someone made that. The depth of the print seems so varied and also looking at that sort of ground, I would expect that you just wouldnt get one isolated print like that. Also, what it the purpose of the bare foot next to it. I know its to gage size but why barefoot? If you were out looking for stuff like this, wouldnt you have appropriate footwear one?

I might be talking rubbish here but going to go all out and say its a fake.

Paredolia.
There are way too many other potential causes of this mark to leap to the assumption of a yowie.

Unless of course, you are referring to the pink, shaved yowie foot.

Yeah I agree

To me it looks like the impression was made by the way the rain has settled in the substrate
