I'm not aware of any fresh sightings down your way, except of course for the sighting you had a couple of days ago! How very exciting for you!!! So, why are you seeking places to go and see yowies, when you say you saw one at a spot just a couple of days ago? Sorry for all the questions, but when do your school holidays finish, and what grade are you in at school? I've been to Tassie this time of year, and although it's still cold, there's plenty to keep occupied doing! Which town or city are you at?

1. just this one

2. its always the one site that pops up when you tipe Yowie

3. my parents dont really care

4. well it was just its size, the feeling i had in my stomach when i looked at it and the way it moved aw yeah and it was hairy.

I believe the best places to search for the elusive Yowie in Tasmania is in the South West and North East.

During my 3-4 years living in Tasmania i've found it hard to find strong evidence of the yowie in our southern state, the feeling is kinda neutral compared to the feeling of being watched all the time on the mainland.

South west tasmania would be almost 90% uncharted territory down there because for its terrain. The very few trips i've made down there have been very unsuccessful.

On the other hand the north east mountain ranges is a top place to make a trip. Go along the log truck tracks and you are bound to feel as if you are watched. If you dont find what you are looking for i am sure you'll find something else to take your interest up there, its a interesting land of bush up there.

Holidays are kinda over down here but hey its only an hour - 2 hour drive to each side here so go for it!
