Fantastic interview; and you have to ask how many unreported sightings remain hidden!
If i were the witness I would be taking a trip to the photography shop and learning all about setting
up hidden surveillance cameras.
Great work Dean.

Nice, have you kept in contact with this bloke Dean? and if so has he had any more experiences since the interview in 2000?

Unfortunately Geoff fell off his shed roof and suffered some terrible injuries that he didn't recover from. He passed away last year.

What a shame. Its always disheartening to find out people involved in the Yowie field (whether thay be witnesses or researchers) have passed on. Especially in tragic circumstances...
The Greater Taree area (or Manning District) is a personal favourite of mine..... I`m always intrigued with any activity in that area. My father grew up in nearby Wingham and used to explore the local bushland as a kid. We often head back to the property and camp in nearby National Parks. He never had a personal encounter but he has heard of a few from local landholders. It seems to be still quite active:

Thanks for putting that up Dean
