i went for a hunt on a property tonight 9/2/10 i hunt on this place all the time so i did my usual thing went around the two first paddocks and headed for home.
on the way back around the second paddock headin home my dogs got scared anyone whos knows what hunting dogs are like know they dont scrae easily . i jumped on the back of my ute to get better vision of the paddock and put the spotlight around .
i noticed a back about 300 metres from me and just kept the light on it and it stood up and i crapped myself this thing stood about 6 foot 6 maybe bigger and was on two feet also it was fairly wide it spun around and looked at the light or maybe it was lookin at me i dont no but yea it was lookin at the light and i noticed it had something of fair size in its hand maybe a small sheep of goat im not sure . but i froze as it just looked at the light it didnt move at all just stared i got my head together and jumped in my ute and took off .
guys i dont no what it was but it scared me more than anything in my life i dont want to see it again or want to be hurt by this thing i dont think im ever gunna hunt on this place again or probably not on any place at night again .
i thought that maybe postin it on here someone may be able to give me help it was maybe a yowie maybe it wasnt im not gunna say it was when im not sure what it was . all i can say is that this thing was bigger than me and just stood there like it new i couldnt harm it .

Hi Bigroly;

Yes, hunting dogs do not scare easily at all. The feeling of shear dread is common in yowie / bigfoot sightings and also many
people have a feeling of being watch by something.

Has there been any reports / sightings of anything weird in your area before your sighting tonight. If you do not mind,
in roughly what location did this occur.

There is an incident report on this site that you can fill out.

Hey Bigroly

was this around the sawpit area again ? I used to dog pigs for a living in the early 90s in the Coolabah district - west of Nyngan , I know the dogs I had would not have backed down to anything but I never came across anything like this back in those days , not in the outside country anyway .

MY FINAL DECISION IS MAYBE ............

When the light hit its eyes, what colour did they go? Was there any weird smell? If at all possible, would you be willing to go back there during the day and have a look around for tracks/footprints?

Looking foward to the updates Bigroly , you don't come accross as someone that would scare easily so whatever it was sure must have given you the HEEBY GEEBYS . Keep at it mate .
