Hi all - I'm looking to buy a spotlight - something bright enough to act as a deterrent if required.

Any reasonably priced suggestions?

I bought myself a LED lenser P 14 and are very happy with it, it’s not really a spotlight as such but a torch but its super bright and is way brighter than my Maglite. http://www.ledlenser.com.au/2009/ENG/pr ... php?id=p14

Surefire led torches are supposed to good too but you need special batteries for them and they are expensive to replace.
