It looks like the comet gets larger as it starts to burn up the closer it gets. I guess most comets would
burn up completely no mater what the size. With the corona being around a 1mil degrees it would
be instant vaporization before it hit....
If you look at mercury coming across from the left and compare, the comet was a decent size.
