Hey RickRocket

Great to see you on here. We all know about the cynics out there mate - I actually don`t bother calling them sceptics anymore. A sceptical researcher implies that they actually make the effort to conduct an in-depth investigation... that they judge reports objectively and based on the details presented. These guys do nothing of the like. Why would they bother wastiing their time. They have already formed an opinion in their righteous little heads that this is all silly nonsense. Like the saying goes: DON`T BOTHER ME WITH THE FACTS MY MIND IS ALREADY MADE UP! Usually the most vocal among them are the laziest in gathering details of a case. I would say that less than 1% of them have actually conducted a face to face interview with a witness or gone to the site of an encounter and looked for evidence. Even 1% would be stretching it! When in doubt on a report they simply dismiss it as a hoax based on ludicrous assumptions and/or flimsy reasoning... and they won`t hesitate at twisting the details or making fabricatons to reflect their opinion! If the truth be known the vast majority are not even worth wasting your time debating the subject with! HATE MAIL doesn`t suprise me.... I definitely wouldn`t be losing any sleep about the attacks if I was you mate. You know what has taken place - let them carry on with their heads well and truly buried in the ground. I would hate to rock their little apple carts - after all - the human race (led by cynics) knows everything about what does and doesn`t exist in this universe! Anything that doesn`t fit into their narrow viewpoints is pure nonsense!

The funny thing about it all though is I`ve actually come to enjoy stirring them up. Its a bit like throwing a rock at a hornets nest and then watching them totally flip out! They are always good for a laugh. (devilish)

The feelings are mutual mate. Thanks for showing us around... hopefully one of many future trips. Definitely skype looking forward to having a chat! Ha haha I`m hearing you in regards to the cynics - I`ve forced myself to bite my tongue many a time. Most of the time I try and keep it positive and focus on the actual phenomenon itself. But sometimes you can only put up with so much (steamer) ! Some of the blatant lies and false information I see getting put out there just push my buttons a little to hard! I think at times people need to stand up for what they think is right which can result in being forced to fight fire with fire! That can get very messy and often pretty negative - but hey, I would rather that than let these guys get away with spreading their fraudulent propaganda! I know we are fighting the good fight. Hopefully at some point in the future this work will be vindicated! Anyways, I`ve wasted enough time ranting about the naysayers time to get on with more positive stuff!

Bloody right, Mike!!!! (claps hands) (In American, that would translate as "I know that's right!")

And Rick, don't worry about being a little bit spelling challenged. You spell just as well as almost any American, and nobody pays any attention to that! If you've had a sighting, then you've had a sighting. Pay no attention to fools. The world's full of them.

I haven't had a sighting, but I've seen plenty of footprints and tree structures in Texas and Oklahoma. I have also felt their presence a few times--it's really eerie, but not at all frightening, although the friend in OK whose property I was on said some people would get so uncomfortable that they would have to leave. Of course, they weren't believers.

Keep coming back, Rick, glad to see you! (claps hands) (taz)

Hey Rickrocket.

I am personally a huge fan of what you are doing. Great to see someone getting out there and getting their hands dirty.

Your down to earth angle of video blogging is the best we have seen in this Country thus far on the topic. You are you, just being you - which is what we all respect. As I have said before, you are right on the money with so many of your views, of which can only come via 'experience', not being an internet cynic. Koo-dos to you my friend. Shame you can't make it to the Blue Mountains next Weekend, however we all look forward to you being involved in a future adventure.

SAB8, from what we have read over the past couple of Weeks on various Forums, you are so very matter of fact, well worded and have hailed much applause from many people. See you next Weekend.

Keep blogging Rickrocket! Your a true Aussie Character that speaks his mind - very refreshing.

I hadn't seen his blogs, but I'm fixing to go over and look right now! (taz) (claps hands)

About a half hour later....I just went and looked at Tony's web site, and I'm so glad I found it! I've bookmarked it and it's terminally awesome! At first I had a hard time understanding Rick's perfect English, LOL, as he's not from around here, ha ha, but I quickly picked up on it. And as for mosquitoes in Australia, if he really wants some bad mosquitos, he ought to go to East Texas and try ours on for size! (taz)

I just watched your video Mrx. Nice work! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mW-nkNTef-g

It looked like you were going about things the right way, keeping in mind that there is often NO right or wrong way - just making the effort of being out there and getting your hands dirty is the only rule. Whatever you discover, if anything, while your out is a bonus.

For those not in the know, Mrx had an encounter at this location 2 years ago. It was on the side of the road, extremely tall, slender, long arms, short grey hair etc.....

cheers Tony,

What I wanted to talk about is in my video the second foot print looks like the shape of your print in your video.
In my video I tried to take a photograph from the video and take it into photoshop cs4 program, to have a better look at it but it didn't improve.
If you have a duo core processor on your computer, can you look at my video and your video and pause on both video's at the footprint view and tell me if they are alike?
thanks mr x

Wow, I just watched Mrx's video, and it's actually some of the best footprints I've ever seen, even "in person"--taking about Sasquatch footprints, of course. I have a feeling the Yowie are less threatened than our American BF because they have a great deal more habitat left where few people ever go. In the USA, I understand that it's more difficult to find such excellent footprints relatively out in the open, even in the woods, because they use their sharply honed avoidance skills to hide their footprints very well. (taz)

It's real good to see three researchers--Dean, Tony and Mrx--helping each other in such a friendly, open manner! From what I've seen, most American BF researchers, far from that, would just be bickering and criticizing each other, and demanding "Prove those are footprints! They look like a hoax to me because I'm not the one who found them!" But that's typical of American behavior, I'm really sorry to say. (no no)

Nice footage Mrx - great effort. The holes in the ground are quite interesting as me and RickRocket also observed some recently that looked almost identical. The dirt that had been dug up was placed in almost a neat little pile at the edge of the hole. The only 'conventional' prints we could find in that area were kangaroo prints. I`m not sure if this is a common trait of roos or what? If anyone has some insight or a conventional explanation as to what could be making the holes I would appreciate a post.

That's a very good law, but I don't think money is the cause for Americans behaving so rudely in the BF field. (Though all would like money, of course.) Rather, I think it's fame. Everybody wants to be the person who "discovers" Bigfoot and therefore become a big-time celebrity. And until and if that discovery might be made, almost every researcher is jealous and envious of any research done by anyone else that gets the slightest attention. Americans are just very insecure that way. They're constantly tearing down each other's research, even when it's good. Especially if it's any good. (2guns)

Two of our best American researchers, Tuklo Nashoba and Chester Moore, both of whom are good personal friends of mine, have left the field of Bigfoot research. They got burned out with being constantly harassed for being among the best. Chester is now famous as a wildlife conservationist, and Tuklo is retired from active research, and an author. Why can't Americans (not just BF researchers!) just have the attitude of "I could never do what Chester/Dean/whoever does, but I'm very happy with what I can do, and I'm grateful for the role model"?

And who the h*ll would want to be famous anyway, unless your fame, like Dean's or Chester's, would promote some very good cause? Just means being aggravated by fools 24/7! (taz)

Nice videos!!
Good to see you are out there amongst it..
Which law are you referring to..or are you talking about a general law about native wildlife..which would be a problem anyway..because the yowie is not listed as an animal but folklore..
So..can you own a body under some form of folklore clause.? (uh uh)

I just wouldn't tell anyone if I found some good fossils--say a mammoth tooth, mastodon tooth OR small dino bones, something like that. They would go straight to my grandson. (taz) I wouldn't care if it was illegal or not. But AFAIK, if you find fossils on your own property in America, or even along the bleeding Brazos River, where many mammoth teeth have been found, you can keep them your ownself.

Mike, I forgot to tell you how much I love your little flying lizards. Do you know the name of them? (claps hands)

Hi Tony. Just saw a mention on your youtube channel about a spot 73roadrunner1 picked out for you to research. I guess it does look like a footprint :) I don't have an account to comment, so I hope you don't mind if I comment here. I have recently spent a lot of time researching in the general area. It's very easy bushwalking around that particular area in question as the undergrowth hasn't fully recovered from past fire damage for the most part. Also definitely good as far as what you are looking for.

rickrocket2010 - just checked out some of your videos, and I have to say keep at it. That last one you uploaded, with the two following you.. you have some big cajones if you were out there as dark as that when they were both stalking you. If I may ask, what "kicked it all off" to paraphrase? Was it a chance encounter? Or did you know of previous sightings out there & decided to go & have a look?
..people don't tend to notice him standing there in the last frames..

Hey Rickrocket 2010
Have you been back to that location ?
I'm guessing that anyone out there looking for these creatures would focus on any area, where they encountered at least 2 of them!
To me, this is the obvious opportunity to get premium encounters / photos / video!
What was the exact location, I've been up there often in the last few weeks?
