Congratulations, Mike and Rebecca. This is a big accomplishment. I had kind of thought the USA had the market cornered on mysterious big cats!

I just got my copy of this book this week and I can highly recommend it to anyone interested in the subject. I thought that I was fairly well well read on the "black cat" phenomenon in Australia but the authors have turned up a wealth of information I hadn't encountered before along with a lot of great photos to suppport it.
I'm an absolute book nut and won't keep anything in my library that doesn't meet my "keeper" criteria, junk gets passed on and occasionaly turfed in the recycling.
This one is definatly a keeper.

Had a very intersting conversation with a farmer who says that wilde dogs have been chewing the ears off his cattle during the night.
He says the dogs hunt in packs and do this for fun, instead for food. I wonder if a pack of dogs would be brave enough to take down
a panther!

Yeah, got it, read it, read it again and now that we are back home, it's still beside me as I type......
The book makes me want to grab the cameras and go walking..... just hafta figure out where...lol
