Mrs X watched the video and took some captions to her adobe photoshop program and adjusted the levels to see if the image was definately a bigfoot , looks to appear female.
You can see the original footage on you tube titled: BIGFOOT NEST? VERY INTRIGING FOOTAGE.

CHECK IT OUT AT STAGES OF 5.28 OF THE VIDEO..It appears that the bigfoot is trying to not be detected and only moved her head slightly when he was focusing on her. OMG...you must check it out...tell us what you think? thanks Mr X and Mrs X

For some reason that pic makes me laugh cause they clearly highlight the "boobs".

sorry maybe i should have clearly marked it as chest plate, instead of boobs. Mrs x did all red markings and changed the levels of the contrast of the photo takin from the original footage. to see what the black thing was. she has many more frames of photos where the head turned towards the video guy. so what ever it is it was definately moving its head.

I really dont know what it could have been, certainly something black down there it looked as though it moved but I couldnt tell, could have been bear although I'm not sure if bears make their shelters like that, I dont know enough about bears to comment. Either that or they stumbled upon a great find.

cheers chewy, yes we in same situation we don't know much about bears either, maybe people from the states who go on this site inform us of their behaviour. etc.

You go looking for "monsters"..and you find a structure ....and you find something possibly living at the end of the structure..so..
You dismantle the back of the hidding area from the outside. Nope.
You send someone in who is smaller to fit further into the tunnel with the camera.Nope.
You go and get torches.nope.
You just waddle off..and go looking for more "monsters"...

to mike and topender...me and mrs X, if we seen something like that in Australia, we wouldn't hesitate and we would crawled in for a better look, or even open the back a little bit for a peak. Looked like a Sunday Church Group Outing with a find like that. Not much expression showed by any of the researchers. Look at the way most of them wandered off.
Wouldn't the smell inside make most people throw up? And the guy worried about the bug's would feel out of place stepping of asphalt let alone sleeping in a Haystack, I think he was wearing the Pink camouflage shorts, similar to Dean's or was he with them.
To casual to not have been rehearsed. Nice stills from outside but camera obviously did not have a flash to check out the black Beastie inside.

I just recently got the latest version of Photoshop; Would you mind if i could get a copy of all the stills you have? I'll be able to touch them up, add some filters in & make it a lot easier to see everything. Modesty aside, I have a degree in multimedia design, so I know Photoshop like the back of my hand.

I think it was SAB 8 I did some photo touching up for.. found some stuff we didn't think was in some photos.

Thats not exactly the one I played with, but if you'll notice it seems as though whatever it is, is facing the right.. further enhancement showed it was looking to its left.. apparently at some campers who were in the general area. I'll have to ask SAB 8 to dig out the actual re-done photos.

This is how i got the still photo's, you go to the video clip pause on the stage you want to inhance. photo still at 5.28 12 then press Print screen button on your keyboard and then go to your photoshop and open new document as clipboard and then paste your printscreen in.
then crop the photo to your liking and then add your filters etc..all I did was adjust the levels of the photo only. nothing else. so good luck if you can do a clearer pic.

totally agree with you dashboard...they were very very casual...if it was us we would have investigate further.

comment to deadpool myself (mrsX) Im just about finished my diploma in Graphic Design.
so if you need an digital paintings for websites let me know or for computer games etc..thats my speciality. will try and send you one still photo, i have already adjusted all the others. this one i haven't.

I had the impression that some of them may have discovered it earlier and they returned to document the find. What doesn't sit well, is the fact that although there was something of interest within, they left. One would imagine at the very least, a flash from a camera may have been useful. With that amount of people at the location, surely someone could have made the effort to leave and return with appropriate equipment while the subject was surveilled by the remaining members of the group.

Seems like quite a waste of a find if true.

It was two words I missed spacing, which makes it even better, I think.
Have you looked at the follow up video. The plot is getting worse the more they come out with. If the black thing was a young Bigfoot I am sure it would have called as they approached thinking it was parent. Plus they did not mention any odour if it was the norm to leave a young one in that position.
It would be like sticking your head in a dog kennel or Bear den, he would have been ripped out so fast his friends would be still looking for him. Plus that earlier Bed thing that the volunteer seemed to fit the mould perfectly, certainly not designed to spring out of should a meal pass by.
As an exercise I have looked at Google street view and searched frame by frame in some of the back roads Palmerston Hwy across to the top of Tully Gorge.
Seeing some interesting possibilities if you compare each panoramic to get a three dimensional view. Also Omeo Highway Mount Wills area has possibilities as well.
Most of the time the driver thinks he is in a rally so wouldn't see to much and I am sure they don't get censored or even looked at.
This is in my list of things to do in Melbourne, cold wet weather stuff hence the nickname.

Nice to see they have set up a Cam, however one would have thought that they would have investigated what was in there a little further while actually there.

Still playing around with Photoshop (I just got CS5 Extended) - and by the looks of it it seems to be two juveniles & an adult in the background. What its chest plate seems to be is actually a pair of eyes, unless yowie/bigfoots have 3 nipples!

Once i've worked it over properly, i'll post up the result.

look forward to seeing your still pics deadpool. We only have CS4 haven't updated yet.

Howdy all. First time post. I can see a bare faced ape like critter in an upright seated position. In the video i can also detect mouth movement and also two eyes that glance toward the camera. Very strange behaviour how it just sat there virtually unmoved. Im more inclined to think it is juvenile and that if the research group had not been so numerous i think big mumma wouldve came to the rescue.

Do they think for one moment Bigfoot/Yowie's are going to leave themselfs wide bloody open like that ....i think not...they are Smarter then us in many many ways and that stunt is not on there to do list... Its called getting a 6 to 7 foot tree branch tieing or tapeing the Cam to the end of it & and slowly lowering it in...with a small torch taped to the side of the cam....Not bloody hard guys...and keeping the group a little Quite would have gone a long way as well.....they may as well have brought the BOOM BOX and had a Party outside with the amount of noise they were makeing....lol

To cut a Long story short....BIGFOOT/YOWIE ARE NOT STUPID oh well we will just have to keep on searching guys...lol

If you want a copy of CS5-X; gimme a yell, pm, whatever - and I can direct you in the right direction.

As of the photo.. SO many new options to play with. At the moment i'm playing with the hue/saturation & curves. I might end up triple layering it & using some photo enhancing effects to get a good view of the thing(s).

See what you can make of the below picture Alex. I have put it through CS3 and can't make heads or tails of it.

I would have done the same thing especially if I was a juvenile Bigfoot. The least you move the better, your chance of not being seen is greatly improved, take walking in the bush for an example your walking along a track there is something in the bush next to you and you have no idea its there as soon at it moves or starts to move its opened itself up for detection. As soon as you start to move out in the bush you open yourself up for detection, not only visually but audibly (cracking footsteps for example).

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing whether it be bear of Bigfoot.

I've gone through both photos several times with different settings (including a new neat curves effect i like to call "night vision") - to no avail, doesn't bring out anything that the original photo doesn't. I'll keep going, trial & error & so forth.. but, working with pretty much pitch black images is nearly impossible. Basically whatever the camera showed is what I can get, albeit slightly more enhanced. If it was a raw photo, it would be a lot easier, but this has gone from camera to Youtube to Photoshop to Photoshop. So its lost a lot of its.. how would you put it, crispness. Its kinda like converting an 8mm film to Blu-Ray quality. Its possible, just takes a-lot of time & even more rendering time. I'll post up the pic when i'm happy with the results (what can I say, i'm a sucker for perfection).

And as for Dean's pic.. I can get about as much out of it as you; although playing with it a bit I thought I made out the vague outline of a head, but further inspection showed it was just shadowing from one of the branches. I think the eye-shine is coming from a few feet back from the tree itself, thats why I can't get a clearer image. At one point I inverted the colors, seeing what I could get from that & the eye-shine went red.. and yeah, I jumped back for a split second. From that aqua blue color to this firey red colour. But, once again, I shall persist. If you took more than one pic of the eye-shine, from a different angle perhaps or something, maybe that'll help more.

Welcome to the Forum, re: Mt Wills, I lived in the Mitta Valley before i moved up here to the TopEnd NT, nice country AND perfect country for critters to hide, spent many a happy day fishing the various rivers there, that area has also had its fair share of strange animal reports too

Yowiemrx. Like your style, get out do it, and if it stuff's up we can read about it in the news . We have travelled round a bit lived along Eastern Seaboard over the last 25 years. Top End lived on Thursday Island, used to fly to work out on 18 different Island communities. Some interesting Crypto stories up their.
Boondooma Dam in South Queensland is about 4 hr drive North West of Brisbane just South Munduberra. Lived at the Dam with 4 other staff. The area was similar to the country you show in your last few Video's.
A few thing's in the video I noticed and not picking on but trying to offer alternative's.
Tree twists and limb break's and twists can be from Willy Willy's and can be at any height.
If you have large cattle / camel's they can cause break's, and uprooting of small tree's and fallen branches.
Freezing conditions can cause Tree's, Branches even Rocks to split if they hold water in crack's .
Most of our animals will go along the same paths all the time, grazing on either side, Even snakes and Goanna normally follow a well used route, until they come across a scent that interests them.
With scat try breaking or crushing it up on a rock and check the content. Outside the obvious Roo's Wallaby c**p. look for insect, Beetle remains, grass and berry seeds or pips, nuts. And lastly Bones bit's of hide, When you find them look around and up, maybe your under an Eagle nest.
Another thing finding animal remains wallaby, Roo's even Lamb and Wild Dogs can be left high in a tree or dropped in flight and found in impossible location's.
If you are worried about snakes biting your dog, carry a bottle of Vitamin C and a syringe with about a 25mm needle. If bittern inject about 5 ml s into the Nape of the neck and get him two a vet. It greatly improves survival rates and can be bought at stock supplies in most country towns. If you have a large Esky / Cooler place dog in it to help keep it cool and immobilised.
I have never heard of anyone being hurt by a Yowie ( did read about one but it sounded like another good yarn around the camp fire to me ) most disappearances are normally found ,may take years but they or remains turn up sometime.
You don't really want to find and socialise with them, just get a few snaps to show your mates. And the coordinates to meet again.

Gday Dashboard, a bit about myself, I have lived in QLD , SA and NSW. I've done alot of hunting, rock climbing and used to catch snakes as a kid. Snakes don't bother me.
Dogs are a pain in arse in the bush, and I don't own any due to they always get hit by a snake.
With the scat, I will break it up next time and even put it in a jar of metho and break it down further to have a good look at it.
With the yowie's in my area I don't find them aggressive just curious. But can't wait to use my new HD camcorder that Mrs X got me today. cheers Mr X.

Mr X - first things first, love the YouTube vids, keep 'em rollin' out. Secondly, what type of HD cam is it? Does it record directly to a HDD or to optical disks?

@Dashboard: Little people? I've had several encounters with the little buggers myself. Its been all play mostly, except for the odd occasion where I've annoyed one & it got kinda angry. Had to back off outta there quick-smart.

I agree with the amount of people they had there they could've at least shined a touch in there for a better look.
and after watching most of their vids, they could be a lot more stealthy even the deaf could these guys coming.

Agghhh massive fail..... if these guys are legit than how could they not have followed it up with at least a torch??? They aren`t doing themselves any favours. It makes me suspicious that they didn`t follow it up more vigorously. If these guys are genuine than they have missed a massive opportunity!!! Be interested in their follow-up. Apparently they have the area covered with cameras.... I have a sneaking suspicion they won`t get anything!

You know I agree with their no harm policy but I think these guys have taken it to far by not following through on this. The guy observes something in a supposed Bigfoot nest and then everyone decides to walk away as if its just a interesting little tree break or something. I`m starting to wonder if they were in some kind of hypnotic trance or something????
