orange ufo

tonight at about 8:35 pm wednesday 25th august my entire family saw a bright orange ball in the eastern sky off jervis bay. We watched for 7 minutes at first I thought it was a flare but it was moving up and down and sideways, the brightness faded away after a while but it was still visible then it rapidly took off to the south and disappeared.

Hi Yowieboy ,
As soon as I saw the "orange ufo" post , I was hoping there might be a correlation . A friend rang me at about "8;30" on saturday the 14th and said that there were 2 "orange" light's above my house . She live's a couple of street's over from me . I grabbed my video camera and ran outside to see them . They were both meandering . One more than the other "but" they were heading your way . I live near Bateman's Bay . Had my video camera set up the wrong way and couldn't film them . They were both "very" orange .
I've heard that they hang around during military operation's and there seem's to be a naval exercise on at the moment . I've seem quite a few navy helicopter's fly from south to north in the last 3 or so week's .
