Big cat prints in Ross Creek VIC

Hello I used to live in Ross Creek near ballarat in Victoria this was about 10 years ago but directly acroos the road from us was the state forest. We used to go for walks alot and fishing at the dams in the area and would frequently see large cat prints in the mud and along the dirt roads. Has anybody seen any in the area? or seen pints in the area too?
