Unknown animal pulled from Canadian lake.

Has anyone seen this story before? I stumbled across it earlier. Proof that creatures can stay hidden if they don't want to be found.

Looks like some kind of mustelid to me. I'm putting my vote in for mink or river otter or something similar. I can't get an idea of size, but it screams 'otter' to me, looking at the jaws, teeth, tail and feet.
