Floods

Hey All. If any members of the AYR community up north have lost homes, loved ones, beloved pets or businesses, my heart goes out to you and my deepest sympathies are with you.
I worked in bushfire recovery in Flowerdale, Alexandra and Marysville after the Black Saturday fires, and my boyfriend lost his home, friends and community. I understand how completely devastating those kinds of losses are, how heart-breaking.
A lot of help and support is coming your way, and you have the whole country with their shoulders ready to lean on.
Look after yourselves, and reach out if you need help, or just someone to vent to who cares - this kind of event packs a traumatic punch that takes time to work through, but if you don't it can consume you from the inside.
