Hi guys,

Yowie: In Search of Australia's Bigfoot by Toney Healy & Paul Cropper, Australian Edition

Is there any way to buy the above book without having to use a credit card as the book
shop in Leura wanted me to send my CC details via email. I suggested to her that she give
me the shop's BSB & Account number so I can do a simple payment transfer via my bank.

I live in the NT, million miles away from civilisation.

Is it possible to pay for the book from a different supplier using this method as its safer than
emailing or sending CC details. Even directly from the Authors themselves

What did she say? are you able to do it this way?

Dont you like using a creditcard? or dont you have one?

I bought mine from Turning page bookshop in Springwood from memory i used CC and had no problems.

She said no when I ask for the shop's BSB & Account numbers. I do have a CC but what spooked me was when she
said send my your CC details via email, which may not be safe as anyone can hack into email accounts as they are not
secure sites.

I may try and ring other book stores that stock the book and ask for their account and see what they say. Really looking
forward in getting my hands on that book.

I don't know if there is a difference between the Anomalist publication and the Strange Nation publication, but Amazon also has the US/UK version on their site.

If you don`t want to use a credit card see if they will take Money Orders. I would ring them and ask.

I picked up mine 2 weeks ago from here http://www.megalongbooks.com/ $35 but without postage.. If they will not send it let me know and i will sort something out.. i live close and can pick it up and post it.

I've tried everywhere to get it and have ordered it online from fishpond? I think it is. Unfortunately they didn't say it was out of stock till we paid by paypal but it's just meant to be an extra weeks wait. Total $24.95 but it's a normal 2 week wait, now 3 weeks.

That would be fantastic if you could get it for me; I can via online banking put the cost of the book, cost of express post delivery and $10 for you effort directly into your account.

If you are able to do this then PM me your BSB, Account number, total cost of the book ( including delivery ) and full name so I can set up net bank transfer and I will PM you my address. The cash will be in your bank account the next day.

selkiedarre you might find emailing Dean easier to reach him, as he doesn't get on here all the time. Just go to the Home page and file a report and you can contact him through there.
