From my friend Lloyd today.
Dean:
This is to let good friends know we've had a MAJOR breakthrough with the Starchild's DNA analysis. Our geneticist finally sequenced some mitochondrial DNA from it, and the results were staggering! There can be NO doubt now that the Starchild is NOT a human-alien hybrid, it is a PURE alien! (Explained in a recent "Byte of Pye" included below.)
The details are in a report now posted on the Starchild website (link below). Fair warning that it's written to a higher level of scientific terminology than I usually use because it is a formal kind of report about the discovery. You're more than intelligent enough to understand it, I just wanted to mention that it's not written in my usual style. It's 5,000 words and takes about 20 minutes for an average reader. Here is the link: http://www.starchildproject.com/DNA2011March.htm
Something much easier to read and understand is the attached eBook, which is thoroughly revised from previous versions to account for the new DNA results. Thank goodness we no longer have to try to explain how a human-alien hybrid could nontheless have NO physical attributes of a human skull. Now it all makes sense, both the physical and the genetic. (This is 17,000 words and takes an average reader about 90 minutes, like watching a movie on TV.)
Now we're down to needing an investor to pony up for what we need to sequence the entire genome. With this new breakthrough, an investor can't fail to make their money back many times over, so please give it some thought and see if you can think of anyone who might be interested in making a poopload of money, while taking a prominent place in history. A pretty good deal!
I hope this finds you and yours in good health and high spirits! Lloyd

Re: Starchild Results
Interesting I followed the link to Lloyd's site couldnt understand anything, its a bit scientific for me to get my head around.

Hhhhmmmm I can never get my hopes up with this type of information...... so many people have claimed to have smoking gun material and it always pans out nadda!!! I would be estatic though if this is legit!!! 7 million concerns me a little. Then again I have never met the guy so I cannot judge too harshly!!! I hope he is legit and proves his case!
I noticed he has A Tube account as well.

Rules of debunking
Any conventional explanation is better than none.
Don`t bother me with the facts my mind is made up.
If one can`t attack the data, attack the people, it is easier!
Do one`s research by proclamation; investigation is too much trouble.

Re: Starchild Results
These results are quite spectacular though there is a long way to go. My youngest daughter is the genetic research scientist (CSIRO) so I will pass it to her for more insight. The most important aspect of all this is their intention to get their results repeated and to get everything then sent for peer review. They have no control over that review process so any flaw will be picked up before they can publish. I think you can have considerable faith in the final results - if they do what they say they intend to. The interim results look OK to me but this is not an area where I have any expertise, at least not at this level.
What particularly got me excited here is the ability to identify new species from mtDNA data which is what we can extract from Yowie hairs. The new tools look really good - as does the US comparison database of DNA sequences. Getting mtDNA is the relatively easy part. Comparing it to previous sequences is the hard part and that needs such a database and a big computer to do the hard work. Thanks for posting this Dean. Most useful.
