Hello everyone,
I'm new to these forums though not new to this field of interest. My name is Daniel and I am based in Wellington, New Zealand (not much opportunity for primary research here!). I'm a professional artist and writer working in the film and television effects industry. I design creatures, among other things, for movies, so i have always had an interets in teh natural world and in particular in natural mysteries. Monster stories are stock and trade for my industry but my interest is in the possible natural explanations behidn the real monster stories coming out of Australia, Asia, North America and many other parts of the world. To that end I have read everything I can get my hands on, watched as much as I can get ahold of and spoken to as many folks as I can associated with the 'hairy hominid' mysteries. I've been in the field a few times and seen some very interesting evidence in person. I'm eager to learn what I can and look forward to interacting with my aussie brothers and sisters here to see if we can't figure out what it is you guys have going on over there.
Oh and the user name is based on a fictional character. I'm neither religious, nor a real reverend.
