Hi horserider,

Whereabouts was the sighting because I live 15 minutes from nowra, Ive always heard about sightings on the shoalhaven river east of nowra and in Morton national park. also how tall are the windows off the ground yowies are said to be up to 10 feet tall.

wow is that right? What else is in Nowra? ... do you mean the big black cat? Because they are defianetly around in lots of different places... or do you mean something else?

I saw a big cat in Glenorie 2 yrs ago... so would believe you if u said u saw one in Nowra.. or are you talking about something entirely different?

(scared)

"Yowie Boy" it is interesting you say they were seen along shoalhaven river because to my knowledge they will always be near a water source - which i guess is stating the obvious but for drinking & i guess fish catching too

I wonder if they are as good fish hunters as bears? I wonder if their diet is same as ours?

I hope one day we can communicate with them even if it were from a distance. Amazing creatures.

Hi just wanted to bring this thread alive again as my neighbour is here at my place tonight & i asked her how is your friend

the answer was " I dont know she hasnt been outside her house in weeks... my brother went to visit her & she wouldnt come to the door, when she finally did she said to him she hadnt been outside the house in weeks'

What the fruit?!

Ive asked her to try find out WHY!??!!

there are definitely Yowies in the Morton National park, Nerriga has a monument to them and further south one was killed and buried behind the old Braidwood cordial factory, I live on the Nerriga side more towards tarago and there is always a lot of activity in winter here, we think they come from further south out of the snow, My place , we can leave a horse carcass in the bush up back and the next day its completely gone, Locals dont want hunters around so we say nothing and avoid them.

HI guys,

Wasn’t there a case near Nowra where someone saw a large, dog like figure standing on two legs with deep red eyes? I recall reading it somewhere and thinking, what the hell....

Some places have a high strangeness “feel” to it.
