Not really into cars but for the record, my first car was a 1989 Holden Camira in mint condition.. a nice present from my grandparents at the age of 16 back in 2002 when I got my L's.
That car could do anything and was amazing. Countless stories and adventures with it but about a year ago the engine head cracked and the repair bill was too high so it was a write off.
Best story would have to be:
One night at about 2am a man was in my street looking into cars and trying to steal things. One of my neighbours told him to leave and the thief pulled out a knife on him. My neighbour ran off and the guy broke into my car, hotwired it, and drove off. My neighbour got the plates and told the cops.
The cops assumed it was me and knocked on my door at 4am! I obviously was inside sleeping and had my keys with me. After it was all sorted they told me they would search for a bit but I knew that they wouldnt.
Day after I went through all the streets in a 2km radius and found it 2 blocks away in perfect working order. Obviously went to the police to tell them it was found so they could take it off the Stolen Vehicles list.
Took it for fingerprinting although that day was 38 degrees and the heat dried up all the moisture and prints vanished. Not even my prints were found on the steering wheel and I had just been driving 30 seconds prior to the powder being applied.
great story nopolz. I love my car 85 vk brock director. Other than work,bush bashin campin, hunting, my car is my love. Not much time in between for anything else. I hate car thieves mate. They get shot if they touch mine no joke. I f yo usaid it was a ford i wouldnt of cared lol.
