Thought i might share a bizarre experience with the cat..

One night i was outside on a property cleaning buckets in the dark alone till late..(it was in Glenorie/Arcadia - known for sightings "Glenorie Panther", ... I had no fear seeing how i had never ever heard of them at that point!!!)
Im cleaning buckets from 6pm to 8pm by myself in the dark under a light in the paddocks on a 5 acre property with no one in sight, and all the animals were stirring up...
I hear a number of sheep/goat kills on neighbouring propertys, i thought it was a fox i ignored it, than goats were bleating, dogs barking & got worse with the barking to the point i 'knew' something was close, horses were fired up afraid of something to the point they were showing the whites of their eyes, eyes like saucers.
Specially the older experienced two, one being mine. Anyway i remember just feeling sudden terror after a while & just felt like i was in sudden danger, i didnt know why i was afraid as i didnt know of cats or yowies back than so only could think of ghosts or something, i just felt sudden terror, so i called the dogs to walk me to my car & as i did i suddenly got an image in my mind of something black & fluid slide into my car.. like a channel of black fluid, it was soooo bizarre!
Anyway as it turned out the cat was prowling the property that night & i was very lucky i wasnt hurt/attacked..
The next day we found the pony had jumped her fence & had a huge gash on the OUTSIDE of her upper leg/rump... so yeah so i had images of it to a paranormal effect even though i still had never heard of them before that point in time.. bit odd huh? Bit odd i was getting images of it through my mind whilst it was prowling the property & i had never seen or heard of it before!! It was 2 weeks later down the road from that property at 12.30am that i experienced the sighting, i was with my house mate at the time, we were not drunk or under any influence as we dont touch drugs or abuse alcohol, we were not drinking or tired/sleepy that night.

Is there anything other than the black shape you saw that leads you to believe that there was a big cat prowling about? Did you find prints on the property the next day?

big cat kills all up the street on neighbouring propertys & horse jumped a paddock fence after midnight & had a huge gash on her leg on outer leg below rump.. the kills were typical big cat kills / organs eaten, spine & limbs left intact

The fear response you had seems like a reaction to infrasound.

Has anyone had a sighting that would indicate more details of the cat involved?

More people in that area you mean? Yes that area is a hot spot which i later found out from the police when i called castle hill police station

Infrasound is low frequency sound. It's below the normal limit of human hearing but it does have effects on humans. It's known to produce feelings of fear. It can produce other effects too that vary from dizziness and lack of balance to nausea. Seems to vary some by individual and the intensity of the sound itself.

Some animals are able to produce infrasound and use it as a defence. In the states, there's some evidence that Sasquatch are able to emit infrasound. That's why I thought it was curious in this situation.

Elephants use infrasound for longdistance communication. This is not speculative, it´s a scientific fact.

golly gosh there's so many amazing things that animals are capable that we arent... so how many more things are animals capable of that perhaps we dont even know about

IE vanishing into thin air be it the panther or the yowie
