Hello all

Is there a very experienced medium anyone can recommend on this forum that can help me out with something?? I had a horrid experience last night

I at one point , until i learned how to block spirits, regularily had visits from them in my sleep, they were passed relatives wanting to have a chat as i slept, sometimes they were not wanting to talk but just watch me sleeping, i usually always rejected this... sometimes in a dream i would talk with them but when i'd wake up i would have forgotten what the conversation was about, .. sometimes i'd than wake up & feel them next to me in the room.. was mainly my cousin who liked doing that.
It was scary for me & Im definately NOT interested in taking on message passing for spirits.
Im interested in the topic but not when it happens to me

Hasnt happened in a while, well not since my cousin committed suicide last year anyhow. That went on for 3 mths but stopped now because i learned to block... well i thought i knew how to block anyway....

Anyway .... here's what happened... My father (who is not on drugs or mad or insane & has only seen spirits once before as a toddler) saw something in my bedroom 2 nights ago...
I was downstairs at 10.30pm, usually im in my room at that hour.. anyway he walked past my room & said he saw a male figure sitting up on my window ledge above my desk.

He said it had trousers, like wide trousers, but thats all he can tell me as it was very quick.

Last night.. i had a horrid experience at 3am.. in my sleep someone who was murdered tried something on me last night... i dreamt i was going to this persons loved ones to "help" them, "help" them with what i dont know... & as i walked out my front door i felt pressure in my chest as this spirit tried entering my body so it could talk to his loved ones through me!!! WTF!!!!! (ill repeat this was while i was asleep dreaming)

I never had that experience before where they actually try to talk THROUGH me, only to me! I was terrified, i woke up & I could feel a supernatural sensation was near me in the area my dad had the visual of the spirit.
I told it to go away & said a prayer, than every time i tried sleeping & i was tossing & turning, it kept trying to show me things about the circumstances of its death that i really do not want to know!! It didnt try entering me again thank god but was trying to stubbornly keep giving me visions even whilst i had my eyes open!!
It was like i was in trance or something (kinda like sleep walking feeling as ive done that before lol when i was a shift worker) with eyes open & was seeing stuff.

This person is not related to me & i wont say on here who it was. I dont wont this happening to me anymore It hasmnt happened in ages but when it does it seems to be getting stronger as im getting older

I have an overall desperation feeling from the spirit that it wants the loved ones to get more answers but firstly i would NEVER go to them & tell them & besides, i may have just been experiencing a nightmare..

Can anyone help me with this one? It lasted from 3am till around 4am, every time i try to block it it kept trying to come with images, than when i said okay what is it what do you want i saw what was used to kill this person & how it was used

I think its unfair that i asked for it to go away & it remained stubborn & wanting me to "help" it, like why not go to other mediums who are interested & just leave me alone!

Its horrid i dont want this to happen again, i was very uncomfortable with it, the feeling was soooo heavy & morbid & depressing, sad, dark etc, i dont feel it wants to hurt me it just wanted me to help it but i dont want this sh*t it scares me & its horrible, please help me get rid of these nightmares/spirits/visits because i never want to experience one again & have a feeling it will try again tonight or soon

By the way.. i have had many premonitions that have come true in my sleep & several/many many psychic experiences, hence why i dont just want someones help who knows a bit about this.. i need a experienced medium who really knows what they are doing that can perhaps take over with this stuff for me cos i dont want it

I am not sure if I can help you here, currently a lot of my belief systems are being questioned.

Firstly a little bit about myself which may or may not help you,

I was brought up a spiritualist since the age of 15 and was heavily involved in it for a number of years probably a good 5-6 years and while not being involved as much carried on with the spiritual belief system for another 10y I am now 30 and in a transition stage where I am all over the place with my beliefs. I have just started looking into Christianity a bit more. During my years in spiritualism I went to church every week, got involved in a lot of heavy stuff, Physical phenomena séances where spirits from the other side would come through and touch people physically, I did Reiki and spiritual healing and a number of other things.

Today my beliefs have changed a little all my years of being in spiritualism I found that a lot of what is preached to be very airy-fairy if not a better word. There was never rock solid evidence to say anything in spiritualism was off a good nature, I look back now and think all those times spent mingling with spirits from the other side could it not be that they were, how do I put this, of an evil nature, trying to lure me away from God, this may or may not be the case. Today my beliefs are a little different I have one foot in spiritualism still and one foot in Christianity and I am trying to balance the two which is hard because the both don’t like each other.

Anyway I not sure if I am making sense here and have probably been crapping on too much about myself and my past, so what I am trying to say is just be careful dealing with spirits they are not all as they seem, they can be trickster’s, lyre’s and deceivers and getting too involved in your premonitions may be a sign for them to become mischievous. Some like just putting fear into people.

What you are describing to me sounds like you just had some sort of nightmare as far as I could tell? If it was more than that then I have read your post wrong.

Can I give you this advice? Fear breeds fear if you go through the day worried about being attacked again the chances of it happening again are higher because it’s already there in your psyche.

I’ll give you an example, you know when you have a bad dream and you wake up in a sweat, if you fall back to sleep straight away the dream just begins again it’s because you wake up in a fear and go straight back to sleep in a fear. If I have had a really bad dream I usually just lie there for 30 minutes or so and rationalise the dream (by that I mean tell yourself it was just a dream) say a prayer if need be, visualize a white light and ask God to protect you. It helps me every time.

That’s the best advice I could give.

I could also give you the name of a Medium but I haven’t been to one in years so can’t really give you a credible source.

Anyway I am not a medium, but have always been very intuitive, also I have some knowledge of spiritualism and how it works.

Well im going to go with that and say it was a nightmare, im very sick at the moment with a flu so im going to assume i was running a temperature & had a weird nightmare

Sounds like a much better idea to me! At least for this time because that was wayyyy scary & it wouldnt go away even after i asked it to so ill go with the fear bred fear in this case i think, i like that one !!!

I am not sure what to think about that as it wasn’t me in his position I can’t really judge.

But if it was for just a split second I know the eyes can play tricks on you sometimes not saying he didn’t see what he saw but I just think sometimes there are rational explanations. He well may have seen that figure and it may have been real but if he didn’t stop to look at it properly it could have just been a play on his mind, who is to know???

Exactly right, who is to know indeed, he said he saw it for a spit second but eyes do play tricks & the brain tries to make out what it saw.. so.. could have been false visual but who knows, my have been Mr Ghosty waiting for me to come back upstairs so he can look over my shoulder & spy on what i research on the net bahahaa

i shouldnt joke about it cos im up here now .. okay im going to go get the dog & bring him in here hehe

cant help with the online medium, but if this is a case of a spirit harassing you, maybe trying to ground yourself. Back several years ago I went to a medium and was told to ground any negative spirits or energies that may attach themselves to you during some times of your life. Walking bare foot outside regulary would do this and buy a smudge stick and cleanse your house of negative vibes.
Certain Crystals can also aid in "protection of unwanted visitors".
I dont classify myself a hippy in any way but am open minded to the possibility of looking after oneself at all levels, by the way if this sounds like I am a whackjob so be it, afterall Yowies and aliens are not supossed to be real either.

um this isnt even funny now, after writing my last post on this thread i got up to go to bathroom & tried to open my door & it wouldnt open, the handle turned like normal but door wouldnt pull open , there is NOTHING wrong with the door normally & it didnt feel jammed at all.. it actually felt like someone was holding it on other side playing a trick.. i thought it was my sister but she was sleeping & freaked out when i woke her up to tell her because she has had similar experiences in that room when she used to sleep in there

um, okay so now mums having death nightmares that the house is haunted & something trying to kill her on the stairs, wtf

It was a successful session with my medium. I understand completely whats happening now.
I was right about who i thought the spirit was

Soo.. she spoke of my gift to connect with spirits & that this young spirit was presenting himself to me with some evidence & at the same time honoring the ability i have to speak to spirits & ability to heal those grieving. She said it was like he was presenting himself with a gift being the confirmation for me that i am able to speak to spirits.

Interesting! Medium said its up to me if i want to do this.. she said the area i would be good in is missing children etc.
.. but alot of stress is involved... so its something i can have a think about but Im not sure i have the guts to do it so, well, we'll see but i dont think ill go down that avenue.

In the meanwhile ive just rearranged my bedroom ... she said there's an energy vortex in the corner of my bedroom which is bringing on all these incidents & that i cant sleep near it anymore

Here's the update

Two nights ago my sister hears whistling near her bedroom while she is on the phone talking to her mate in the US

She wakes me up to tell me & the light in the hallway starts flickering.. she than wakes up my dad & he jumps out his skin as she scared him cos he was in the midst of dreaming of his dead father, they were chatting in his sleep, than as she tells him the light stops flickering but starts to turn completely into off on off on off on off on

Okay so we are haunted lol, its apparently a relative so im not worried

Saying that im home alone typing this ooooooo scary

If you don't know how to cleanse a house get the medium back as they should know how. An Indian sage smudge stick is a good start as jeffa said you have to fully cover yourself and everyone in the house pus every part of the house. You'll then smell like you've had a huge pot party not really that's what it smells like.

If that doesn't work then yes you do need someone with experience to clear the house. To do with the dead man/ boy. I was given information about a case by a spirit for years, he even moved across my room and grabbed my ankle one night but it was a symbol of please don't give up. I finally felt like a big tool but rang crimestoppers with all the information given to me and he was partly found not long ago so now he's at peace. From what I've learnt.... so what if you feel like a fool pass the info on if you have the gift.

heya phoenix i cleared the bedroom, no major dramas since.. i know what / who it is & have learned to accept it without being afraid

Guess one of the biggest things ive learned in life which i should have applied to this situation is when in fear accept the situation & go with it than deal with it. Fighting the feelings of fear & panicking just makes the fear factor worse


At the end of the day, it was just a couple of ghosts visiting, a couple of good ones too, not bad ones
(Disturbed ghosts but not bad ones & they both had to visit in the same week trust my luck lol or maybe it was good period for ghosts to come through more like)

the dog growled at something in mid air in the living room tonight, we were sitting (we being my whole family) watching tv & we turned tv off for around 20mins whilst we were discussing something when suddenly the pomeranian starts growling at something mid air. It lasted on & off for around 15mins & everyone saw it.. he watched 'something' move around the room as he followed it with his eyes & ears poined forward

I know, old post - but I thought i'd put my 2 cents in now before the thread gets archived.

If you haven't already, try learning about shielding. I am currently learning to shield myself.. it takes it out of you, believe me - but it can help in some cases.

A friend of mine [name redacted for privacy reasons] is shielding his house.. all by himself. I'm probably starting to sound a little nutty right now, people can choose to believe this or not. Either way, if you're still getting pestered by spirits, either face them on your own grounds, or throw up as many shields as you can so they can't get past them.

Deadpool I would never sleep in a place that I hadn't worked protections around. I do it every night, where ever I am.

I'm intrigued by horserider's experiences. By everyone's experiences in this thread, really. Never having had anything similar (or remotely inexplicable) happen to me, it sounds terrifying.

I've always been interested in these sorts of events, but have no idea what to make of them.

Yes it sounds pretty frightening. I've had a few things happen over the years and it changes your whole outlook on life
