Moreton Bay/Pumistone Activity?

Anybody know of much UFO activity around this area?
My little lady and I decided to head down around midnight to one of the local boat ramps on the 30 of September.
Just to see what we could see as it was a nice clear night.
We could see the flight paths of the airlines coming into Brissy airport and watched them do thier circuits to land.
Scanning the skies away from this area we noticed what looked like an orange star toward the northern tip of Moreton Island/ Southern end of Bribie. We could line it up above one of the channel markers that we could see, the orange light seemed to glisten not flash on and off or pulse. From where we were it was only a couple of inches (at arms length) above the channel marker.
What happened next left my partner in a sort of shocked state of disbelief till late the next day.
We watched as the light slowly rised to about 5 times the height from its original position then started to do figure 8's coming to a stop after each one and alternating in start direction.
It would then shoot off to one side very fast and return again to stop where it had started then do the same thing in the opposite direction. It did this quite a few times while we watched.
Then it slowly sank back to the position we had originally noticed it but further north of the channel marker and sat there for a few minutes before quickly shooting straight up very high then sinking down again.
Finally it just seemed to travel straightaway from us out to sea till it disappeared.
All this happened over a half hour period, on the walk home the little lady was very quiet (was excited while we watched) The next afternoon she told me she had felt very shocked and just couldnt work it through her mind of what she had actually seen till then and was still running all the usual cover stories through her head.
Needless to say she is now a strong believer after seeing her very first light in the sky.
I hadnt posted till now as I have been searching the net etc. to see if any other reports had been made.

Thanks for listening.
Chad.

hi Chad

I spent 15 years investigating UFO activity in QLD and I can tell you there was enormous action up that way from 94-97
from what I hear it has been pretty quite for some time. HOWEVER, never say never. I have countless report from Trawler captains who whilst at see off of the Sunny coast have had many interesting radar contacts. It is a strange region. You will be totally amazed at what you will see once away from the city lights it is eye opening to say the least.

Suffice to say Chad they, UFO's, are everywhere, you just go to look. Go up to the Maleny range at night and look towards Brisbane, rule out flight paths and you will see amazing things from there, especially the things that have dropped out of the sky, into the burbs and then back out again. It must be totally dark nights, no moon at all. Later the better, in my 15 years we found from 10pm through to 4am (depending on winter or summer) to be the best witching hour.

Night Vision and IR are the best to view.

Hi Rusty

90% of people who give reports will not go on video to talk about it for fear of ridicule and back then our camera's where no where as good as they are now, however vastly more expensive lol- thank god for china. I had to stop for a while, used to bring alot of heat professionally when my name got googled years ago, I used write for Australasian Ufologist and Hard Evidence, ran a group called STAR-Q for while giving talks about things we found and sightings and general discussions,

We are in the process of re-tooling with new State of the Art equipment and will start doing field work again next winter. We tracked sighting across South East QLD for 3 years, back then we knew roughly where and when they would show using Demographic statistical analysis.

The one thing we have learnt is that model doesn't not apply. My close associate is now undertaking a sky watch program from his house on Brisbane South Side. We have seen some weird s#@t using IR camera on the sky. We now using high yield night vision camera / scopes on one stand and IR via High powered binoculars on another all digitally captured straight into the computer and the results have been amazing

The one big thing we have learnt now, and I am not under or over stating this in anyway but they are here and they are everywhere in the night sky and thats no BS

I'm fascinated , and yes I believe you when you say "they" are here . I've seen my share of weired stuff in the sky that has no explanation . Was fishing with my nephew once , he said " look at the eagle " , I looked up and what ever it was looked like skylab , the first human space station .

Surely the government would be keeping tabs on this Raymond ??

I had a friend who lived at the glass house mountains , she said there was u.f.o. activity there , mind you , that was 20 years ago .

Good luck with the re-tooling and be sure to fill us in with your new finds or links , so we can see what your catching .

Glad to see someone's on the ball . :D
