God I hate windows 7,Give me my windows XP back...aaaaahhhhhh!

Windows 7 is a lot better than XP, just my opinion, it does take a bit of getting used to but once you have got the knack of how it works its overall far superior to XP.

Linux is far better than any version of windows IMO and it's free. I'd prefer a Mac, a bit pricey though.

You might be right Dion.I just got to get the knack aaaahhhh.My internell hard drive is dead in my old computer and lost all my research,aaahhh.Had to get a new PC.I just got windows 7 and now there windows 8.I getting to old for PC.

didgmaster...No it's not backed up.I just been down loading my pic of AYR.Thanx god for AYR.I can get some of it back.
I was going to get the same hard dive and swap the circuitboard.But they don,t make the hard dive any more aahhh.It was 5 years old.aaaahhh.

Hey MrX sorry to hear about your hard drive thats happened to me a few times I have learned to back everything up now.

BTW Looks like windows 8 is a while off yet mid to late 2012 is the release date.

Take it to a PC specialist, get the drive switches set to make it a slave drive and hook it up as an external drive and they may be able to download some, if not all, of your data. Should not cost much - unless the hard drive is cooked or the fingers are buggered and then it will not work.

Mate ! Just check the connections to the hard drive , they do get loose , mine used to do it . Give me a heart attack everytime .

Hi Mate..I check the connections to the hard drive 10 times with the pc on as well.I will look into it down the track some time.
