Mysterious Monsters

Hi all,
Does anyone recall a book titled Mysterious Monsters...??
It was predominately about Bigfoot and Skunk Ape, Yeti and the Loch Ness Monster..
I believe it was also made into a doco at some stage. I think both book and doco are 70s era...
The author's name escaapes me, but I believe his first name was Alan..
