Jeez I thought I had something here , sounds like a huge chested primate..................but no , a koala mating call .

Yes, I have heard this myself. Such a deep sound from our cuddly little friends.
Erect and sublime, for one moment of time,
In the next, that wild figure they saw
(As if stung by a spasm) plunge into the chasm.

You are not wrong there Rusty. I was at a Koala park when I heard it, so I could imagine what it would be like at night.
Could be a trouser changing moment me thinks.. :)
