Internet Trolls

Love some of the trash that desk bound tragic's put out on the Net. CHECK THIS QUOTE OUT:
"Perhaps it is not surprising that such issues are not raised by Harrison's Yowie-seeking peers. After all there are more stories to tell, books and merchandise to sell, and donations for their "research" to scam..."
This Internet Troll lays himself on a plate to be carved up. I guess that’s what stupid people do.
Never allow facts to get in the way of a good story. Or put frankly, he lies to suit his selfish cause.
How absurd. How incorrect and false.
I do not earn one cent from any Yowie/Website Activity.
Not once have we ever asked for donations in all our years.
Never have we asked for any contribution to run the websites.
Not one advert has ever been placed anywhere on our (5) websites.
There will never be, any adverts on any of our Youtube Sites because I believe any Youtube Add is trashy. I don't like them, nor expect anyone else to.
Over the years, as many know, I have supported and funded people to the tune of many thousands of dollars. I have always been self funded and helped others.
There were 3 occasions since 1997 where we let people know about a book release on our home page, which we did not earn one cent from.
How rude making such a false claim.
What a tool. I don't and never will earn a cent. Its all come out of my pocket since day 1.
You Sir, require a life of your own, rather than trying to be a part of someone else's.
And further more, do not lie about such matters you clearly know little of.

The only problem with rolling in the mud with that pig is that when you get up it is hard to get the smell off .
Some times it is best to let them fall upon their own sword . You have nothing to warrant any replies to that gutter trash , Dean in my experience with AYR and it's moderators everything has been conducted on a fair and open platform with no hidden agendas that commercial advertising can often perpetuate .
I have in the past suggested T shirts and other types of promotional ideas that were politely denied although it took a while I soon realised that to maintain the required integrity of the subject that these sacrifices were necessary so as to avoid ridicule and bone pointing from ( Tools ) like this .
Keep up the good work Dean and the AYR team don't be put off by a few weak key board heroes . !!!!!!!

Dean;
Sadly, as you know, once something is "on the net" it takes on a life of it's own and truth suffers. Having said that, the truth very often takes a toll in the long term (as in this troll's case where the number of site hits has dropped to near nothing over time as his single agenda becomes clear).
I for one appreciate the manner and method you have used on your sites. Free access and open sharing with a minimum of drama and emotive ranting. This proves to me the the model works most of the time when properly applied and the site contributors learn and practice the site's examples.
All that to say, what you are doing is commendable and good. Don't let the singular negative voices drown out the positive voices of the crowd.
(Although an AYR shirt would be an awesome idea!!

)
Just my two cents, other's mileage may vary depending on speed and terrain.

Thank you guys. Much appreciated. Hopefully that is my one an only rant for the year.
Shirts we have constant requests for. I steered away from it for the very reason as stated above.
If we did do some, would the choice be fashion or simplistic. Fashion being a design, or simplistic being the traditional -> AYR -> Footprint -> URL

I do like the same one as indicated by others. But, I'm not anything close to a fashionista, so beware and perhaps reconsider ...lol
Dean, the idea of a non profit based sales is very good (I tend to be deal oriented..... or maybe a cheapskate). If the sales could support it, perhaps a slight cost increase to retain as a charitable contribution as well? Numbers and a few of the above mentions cave dwelling types may not make this a profitable idea.
Just a random thought. Thanks for at least considering the idea in spite of the heartburn anticipated.
cheers

Thank you Nopolys.
Lissa would like to see something that contributes back towards the Fee's. I feel that any gain leaves a reason for bottom dwellers to ridicule. However as seen in the Top Post, it doesn't seem to matter. If someone likes to make up lies, there's not much I can do other than point out the facts.
We have had many requests for shirts in the past, I might put the shirt on our main thread to see if there is still interest.

I just don't get these people that want to devote so much time, effort and energy in knocking people down when all they need to do is the put those efforts into becoming even slightly educated and informed on the subject. They act in defamatory, liabless and pure nasty way and for what?
they don't know the people they are attacking personally, they somehow make themselves feel better in their pathetic little lives

Shirts are a great idea. Nothing wrong with making a profit on sales. What you do with it is your business. What people say shouldn't bother you at all.

I agree with Gavin, nothing wrong with funding research its got to be paid for somehow for quality work. I believe the qualifying point is that the work or results of the work have to be shared publically, as it is done here (on AYR) and a few other places on facebook and the like but not contributing towards shadow chasers as we see from the States and some here

Hi Dean
It's funny but sad how so many people are so closed off when it comes to the paranormal. They have no interest in exploring the possibility that yowies, ghost or UFO's exist. I believe it's too far beyond their comprehension.
So many times you get the same reaction from these people. It's not worth even trying to explain that it's possible for these things to exist. I think that these people say and do things to discredit believers so they can stay safe in there closed and protected bubbles of ignorance. It upsets there Devine belief that man is the most powerful being in the universe and nothing is going to rock their boat and prove otherwise.
I would think that maybe you have scared this guy and he is lashing out in desperation to make the scary possibility that he is not alone. Maybe when he lays in bed in the dark tying to sleep his simple mind is starting to work overtime so he creates lies about you to make him feel better.
That's my opinion anyway
I think it's great that you have created these sites for us. Keep it up
Damn troll's why do they venture beyond their boring realms of misconception.

Dean
you are doing a great job mate...
there is something in a Troll that hates - it keeps going and they have to hate..everything in the end
I have taken a fair amount of their comments in the past being predominantly a paranormal rather than bigfoot/Yowie researcher - well what do you expect from England
all you can do is roll with it and let them look the tit that they invariably are
there was a conference in the US featuring Jeff Meldrum where he had been attacked by some of the James Randi wannabees....making a brief comment and a look upon their "Alternative explainations" and etc.....
he succinctly finished by simply saying
Get a life guys
and that says it all really
