Any advice on how to get fingerprints ? I presume as a human relative they would have a distinct fingerprint, koala bears do, if so how do you gather them? just curious thanks

After interacting with a group for months and leaving tasty assorted fruits weekly , I left a plastic jar with honey in it one week and cashew nuts in it the next week .

A friend (thanks buddy) who is court qualified tells me that at least one of the pictures below is an index finger print .

I used graphite powder , again suggested by my friend to highlight the prints .

that's really interesting Rusty and a great idea, can anywhere analyse them?

I'm not sure if anyone would bother analysing them , someone might find them interesting .....

Hey Rusty, how would you describe the prints? Reason I ask is I can't see whorls and loops etc. Like you might see from a person's finger (or toe) prints.

FG , I'd say nodules just like the footprint found in the same place . Someone here called them a "cracked pad style" print .

I don't know the proper term but nodules , not lines like us .

Very interesting and holds more credence of an unknown animal having nodules. If you'd come up with our type of fingerprints on that plastic jar, the skeptic could have said, 'possibly those of a koala given theirs are so similar to ours'.

I actually sent the pictures to Dr Meldrum , I mentioned the nodules on the foot and fingerprint and I cant remember his exact response but he suggested it wasn't related to us , not human or not primate or something similar , I should have mentioned this to Neil , sorry Neil !

Neil believes there maybe a marsupial yowie in Australia , this may be an indication , who knows .......

Now THAT is a fascinating notion!

Interestingly, when I obtained a hand print last year Rusty and I with a couple of others did a comparison and found similar nodules in similar spots, very close in fact given that we are 1100 klms apart...I think I have the comparison pics on my computers at home I can post them here if anyone is interested

Ray, yours clearly shows the nodules appearing only on tip of the finger with lines on the lower sections of the finger. Fascinating to suggest the nodules are a clear replacement of prints and that they don't seem to occur on the rest of the hand (at least by that evidence).

So ..........if these one's don't have dermal ridges , what are they ? Marsupial ?
Surely they cant be human .......but koala's have prints but are marsupial .

Who knows Rusty. All the great apes Gorillas, Chimps, Orangutans and even the great monkeys like Baboons and Siamangs all have fingerprints. How can it be we have an unknown primate, which could be closer to humans than apes, that has a totally unique individual identifier as nodules as fingerprints? There is no evidence of finger prints in all the human ancestry (early homos, australopithecines etc) so it's a dead end there (no pun intended).

Perhaps the error could be in assuming our primate links must determine the same pattern: if a koala fingerprints are so similar to us they can often be mistaken as human, yet are not primates, does this not prove the point? That anything is possible?

together with measurements to get an idea, the similarities between this and Rusty's physical evidence

Thanks B.R. for those primate feet drawings. Looking at them, I can better understand a part of one of the many excellent Audio Reports on this site.

It was the highly detailed and compelling Jamison Valley encounter by the ex military man and his two army companions. Amazing to listen to for a full 30 minutes! If you haven’t listened already, do yourself a favour, grab a cuppa and put ½ an hour aside.

The ex soldier described the game playing Yowie that followed them for days during a training exercise as being at least 11 foot tall (!) and having feet that ‘moulded over’ and ‘curled around’ trees lying on the ground. Those pictures of the elongated primate feet clearly show how it would be possible. He also added it had ‘perfect camouflage’ against the background of the bush. Interesting.

Does anybody know when more of those excellent eyewitness interviews by Paul Cropper will be added to the file list in the near future? It’s been over two months since the last new one was posted. I always look forward to the new ones!
