I don't know if i have mentioned on this board, but my second daughter is ALWAYS being attacked by animals! LOL! Kangaroos have jumped her,,emus peck her, feral cats come from nowhere and bit her legs, dogs bite her, a rabbit shot out from a field one night and knocked her over a cow has chased her, but last week I heard the best yet! LOL! She was on French Island last week-end when she saw a Koala walking along the road. Thinking it was hurt she stopped the car and got out to see if it was alright. Apparently it growled at her, charged her and chased her back to the car! She is also the one who, with her hubby, got chased down the mountain by something, that I think might have been a Yowie.

To have anything happen to anyone on French Island is a major event Dawn, so your daughter can feel quite privileged to have been the subject of the attention of a koala.
For anyone thinking of having a get together French Island is definitely not the place to go. It's nearly the size of metropolitan Melbourne or Sydney, has about 72 people, and most of them are either Thompsons or related to the Thompsons.
If there is one positive aspect to the place it's a good place to get knocked over by rabbits. They're swarming over the Island. Erm....was it a big rabbit Dawn, or do you have a small daughter?

I've been chased by a Koala. I walked outside to get the paper, and it was walking along the ground, going towards a tree.. it growled at me, and then ran at me. I climbed onto my bin to escape it. Kinda scary.

Oh, if it counts, when I was little, a possum killed my cat. Bastard thing. :(

French Island, ah yes nostalgia nostalgia.
I organised a deer hunt for Edgells once. Mob of screws from home for wayward boys confiscated my dogs. Used their trouser belts to hold the dogs. Silly buggers.
I whistled the dogs from concealment and they all took off running.
All I had to show for the trip was a dose of the flu and 6 trouser belts
Kind regards Wally

Hi Plesi, it was a big rabbit, and my daughter is 5ft 2in... so it was a good match up. Never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it my self. Damn thing shot out from the scrub and straight into her legs, where they had this major tangle thing happening. LOL! I had never heard of a Koala chasing anyone before.
