Hey Dave thats a funny article and very true. Finding bigfoot guys have found nothing so far. Best ive seen is a night vision blobsquatch and ive watched it on and off for years. I love it when they hear tree knock and responses to the bigfoot calls and there is obviously nothing there. If anything they do more to debunk bigfoot than find him but as the guy says in article at least you know what your gonna get and it is a bit tongue in cheek.Would love to see them do a special on the yowie. Send em out to ormeau or the philiga scrub with the serious investigators and see how they go!

Did they not in fact come to Australia for a Yowie episode filmed here?

I dont know. Id like to see it if they did. Like to see the episode where they debunk todd standing too. Just been watching the pilot episode actually.Its just started from start again on fox. Theyre lot more enthusiastic on the early ones. The eyewitness accounts are usually interesting.

They did either in season 3 or 4. I think the episode is on Youtube.

It appears to me that with the number of 'researchers' active in the states the scenario where one lets out some whoops to attract one in and is answered in another researcher whooping in reply thinking they are whooping to a bigfoot would be frequent.

The Finding Bigfoot team in Australia. This episode was probably the best of the entire series. It had genuine responses to Cliff's handclaps as well as a scream and it's the first time I've seen the sceptic Ranae Holland generally crapping herself when she was being tracked by a Yowie. Unless it was some yobos out in the remote bush deciding to join in at 1.00 am in the morning just for the fun of it then I would say this episode is genuine. Thanks for the link Seasonfire. Nice to see Gary Opit was in there. A few more prominent yowie people (!) from Ayr wouldve made it more interesting but best one ive seen so far. Makes you wonder why no one has done an Aussie version of finding bigfoot. I reckon itd be a hit. Yb

Finding BigFlop would better suited.

The Australian episode was very interesting and I really think they could of done a second episode and covered the Blue Mountains, Bega area or the Hawkesbury River region ( sorry NSW bias )

Only issue I have with the show is the crazy calls and stomping thru the bush. People tend to forget that even with 4 in the search party - there is probably another 3 or 4 in the filming party making a nice big crowd to use stealth !! NOT!

Unfortunately I still watch the show - but the night investigations are just a waste of time. The Town Hall meetings are the only interesting aspect to the show....

I agree Searcher. The on site segments with the witnesses is good too.The rest is just for laughs. They were upset with moneymaker on an ep i watched the other night. He went after a "squatch" by himself and bubba was pissed. Maybe some drama will arise in the new series? A portal maybe?

I'm still not sure how to process this show.
The guys on there are so dedicated to getting the evidence and interviewing, investigations etc but then they go pounding thru the bush calling out like a bunch high school students?
Some of things that have been used to attract bigfoots are:
1- Playing a bass guitar solo
2- Cooking a massive bbq
3- Disco light show with music
4- Screaming girls??
... and the list goes on.

Then people like Rusty, Dean etc go out and do it properly and come back with results! Proof is right there...do it properly and you will find something.

So yes - Finding BigFlop is the way to keep ratings without actually doing anything?!

Dont forget the Hawaiian lual and singing and the didgeridoo. Its inane really . At least turtle man would catch something each episode. The crypto shows never find anything. I think theyre meant to be a joke. Meanwhile moneymaker is going on about portals and all sorts of things and were supposed to believe him. No thanks!

(Firmly adjusting my tinfoil hat) ... I tend to think shows like not finding bigfoot are designed to ridicule the subject by moving it into infantile entertainment. In this atmosphere any 'scientist' who dares to consider a secretive, nocturnal hominid exists alongside modern man will be sure to keep his or her mouth firmly shut on the subject.

Yeah i agree . Ive always thought they do a better job debunking bigfoot than finding him.

I've learnt Cliff is a pretty good guitarist...thats about it.
