What is your favourite image of ol mate Hairy?

I'll start with this one... didn't like the monkey nose it had so I changed it to a hooded one...

Damn, uploaded them in reverse order
Actually, in this image it looks like it is Dad coming to get the kid, not Mum... no wonder he's yelling, then the kid seeme to be pushing away in his arms at the end... "I want Mum! You stink Dad!" (sneaky)

Just the massive size displayed in both as well as that odd head shape and with the images separated by decades and yet from the Batlow area?

And to follow on from that I think one of Anders BF picks has a very similar build and skull structure and might be legit based on the separation of time and space between all three examples. This is one of my enhancements of his pic.

As its a favourites kind of thing, I submit my results from three years of digital forensics work on the last frame of footage taken on the scariest night of both myself and my fiancées lives in 2012. I was convinced I had captured a yowie close up headshot ( just as one of them appeared from behind a thick tree meters in front of me. I was gutted when it seemed I had zip. Until one day with not much to do I decided to look into digital forensic techniques and then endeavour to recover the image via a shape from shading method developed by Dr Mark Carlotta a number of years ago. Considering what I had to work with at the beginning I couldn't be happier with it. At least it gives a good idea of what the one closest to me looked like. My impression then was that it was fairly old. Mylene had the Alpha come towards the drivers side of the car and at the time ( occupied by the old one....) I didn't see it....her description was enough for me.

A guy in the states runs a youtube channel "The Mark Anders channel". Weird, superficial, sensationalist and the general consensus is hoaxer, mainly due to the ridiculously clear and close ,sparingly released frames. Supposedly from films that are never fully shown or explained correctly. This one has me thinking he lucked out with a submission passed to him and known as The Ohio Bigfoot, of which there are four image frames. I mapped and GIF animated them and I find them quite interesting for a number of reasons including the resemblance to a few yowie images from Batlow that have remarkably similar physical traits.

I've been working on a digital mock up of what I assume was the Alpha Mylene seen in West Wyalong. It also has taken me years to bring the image this far, mainly because she hates talking about that night...making it hard to progress the work (but I respect her frame of mind). The guts of the image is the amalgam of homo heidelbergensis and a large male Orang. This pic I've never released before mainly because it was done only so that I had some idea of what she had seen. Please understand that I'm no digital artist...just a persistent bastard lol

Yeah Paul i bet you wish you had stayed in the car that night! Sounds like they were going after the pair of you. Definitely moved you on if that was their intent.

Thankfully you had the piece of mind to snap a few photos before you got away. Why did you get the impression he was fairly old and the other was the alpha? Just goes to show if there's one then theres a good chance theres more you cant see!

Ive always liked this florida skunk ape but have no idea if its a fake or orangutan or something. The face is a bit like Pauls "chicken photo" but the "skunk ape" has a beard and is covered in wookie hair. Other alleged skunk apes ive seen look like apes (!) with the shorter hair. (confused)

It became pretty apparent we had interrupted a family group or clan of some sort. The racket was ear splitting and I could hear activity coming from one direction become very quickly from many directions, shaking trees, tall grass movement, projectile thrown accurately at my foot. I really thought I was going to be killed and I really didn't care as long as Mylene got away....I got played ...they (in the form of a massive individual) approached her directly at speed when I had been drawn away far enough to be of little assistance to her (soooo bloody fast). My arm hair is standing up again...lol

Re the Florida Skunk ape pix...yes interesting are they not? To my mind very yowie (sub species there of) like.
I attempted a mock up version (shown here) but was never happy with it and scrapped further work.

Nice mask!
I wouldnt be suprised if some of the skunk ape videos are actually just apes.

Theres a few different shots of the one i posted. It appears he is standing up from a crouching position and walking away. I think thats more likely what they're like even if it is a fake.

I know what you mean about the noise. It seems to be a big part of the terror of the whole experience and mentioned in a lot of accounts.

Im pretty sure my freind and i interrupted a family group and had the living hell scared out of us for it.

I thought we were going to die once it got near us and realised there was nothing we could do but run. It was just too massive and fast for us. (taz)

Lots of interesting pics there....
The Florida Skunk Ape that taken in that womans backyard takes the prize in my opinion....very thought provoking and quite confronting. I think that would be one of the best shots around.
The Batlow beast from 1926 which I mentioned in another post a while ago is also a winner but quite a few folks think its a fake....I tend to believe it as the background story holds water.

Heres some more pics of said skunk ape. The Batlow Beast comparison pic is interesting. What a massive unit that thing must be with that huge head and barrel chest and looks similar to the photo bomber in the 1926 photograph.

There must be some incredible suits out there.
I went through the adult with baby frame by frame. The mouth opens and moves naturally as the creature realises it hasa camera pointed right at it, pauses as if trying to decide whether to stay still or run... decides to run. If you look at the mouth when it opens it is too far from where a human head would be in a suit to be so flexible without pretty damned good animatronics built into the head piece.

Here is the original, followed by the same image with the image's levels adjusted. You can clearly see the open mouth, a high, almost gorilla-like nose, and even a furrow line on the brow...
