TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN ANOMALIES QLD

Just got home from a trip to Tamborine mountain last night and once again found an anomaly whilst in post edit.
I was filming the general state of the creeks after the cyclone Debbie storms that flooded the area when I came across a bunch of rock stacking....no biggy, people can and will make these, for what ever reason, however I think I've inadvertently filmed a skull (a primitive looking one to me) on the opposite bank?
Again once the footage is processed I'll put a link up to it. Untill then what do you think?
Paradolia or should I call the cops?

Sorry, and I mean this as a positive comment, but I think you do yourself a disservice posting images which are clearly explained by pareidolia. One should avoid "seeing what one wants to see".

I understand.
The point I keep trying to make is that none of the work is flippant or faked (I mean they would be pretty c**p fakes if I made them, as I have zero technical skills)
I put in a lot of study time since 2012 and deliberately placed myself in a location central to my interests, then began actively looking, almost every day for evidence.
Thus far I've found virtually zero hard evidence. What I do find....no matter how light weight it is....I have honestly put out there, in a kind of virtual diary and for the most parft unedited. I just want the experience to be shared by those that can't just leave their lives and persue what is considered a myth.
If by some remote chance I'm lucky enough to catch a Yowie up close and in HD at least there will be a history of my search leading up to such a hypothetical event.
I get tons of hard criticism over what I'm doing and the way I do it and at times (being human) I over react to some remarks I've read (instantly regretting my hasty angry reply once I cool down....just turned 50 so I guess I'm going to be a cranky old bastard).
I'll keep going because that is the plan.
Cheers

Here's what I think is a skull (exposed in the embankment by recent flooding ) compared to Wolf's recently posted images on the bindaeuro skull.

But I wont know for sure until I go back.....yet another return trip on the planner.
Cheers

IF it is a skull then jaw seems far more prominent .

It's possible it is a skull but if it is my guess would be an old Aboriginal remains that have been disturbed due to the recent weather event that has caused widespread flooding. It's not the first time something like that has happened, I remember hearing about it around the murray river area years ago.

You should keep going. The majority of persons on this forum are following your work with interest. And whether you strike gold or miss or something inbetween - its worthy of discussion.
Problem is public forums like this you get all sorts of opinions...whether educated or not.

As long as your definition of "educated" is not just for "someone who accepts and blindly believes everything you say without offering a possible alternative explanation".

Whatever it may be, to me, it resembles a skull (whether it be the light, I don't know). Its definitely worth a second look for a conclusion.

Yes, agreed, he can only really tell by returning and attempting to locate the same area, with perhaps a follow-up photo from the same position to compare with the one from the video, plus an examination of the exact spot. Might be something, might be not.

In fact I value constructive criticism immensely. I have mostly found lessons to be learned there in.
Sadly my Achilles heel has always been sarcasm, of which I just can't seem to develop a high tolerance to....and I overreact to it.
Sarcasm is used as a tool in scientific debate, this I understand...but( to my old fashioned brain) it just comes off as rudeness.
As a bi-product of my upbringing ( in a family of bikers and truckies CIRCA 1970's and a good 10 year run in the army) rudeness was ....shall we say....frowned upon.
So I should write a form apology for my occasional dummy spits because two seconds later I REGRET THEM.
Cheers

Sorry ,, should add this ,, and Ive never posted this,,
My encounter was in 1991,, night driving through Akuna Bay, part of Kuringai Chase np, heading up towards TerryHills,, I was driving slowly because I was looking for Diamond pythons, and Death adders (just to photograph wink),, and before the corners begin with the rocks,, one crossed right in front of me, I was completely focused on the surroundings and it just walked out in front of me.
Well,, I'm still wondering.

Is it possible to go back and check it out?
Looks well weathered so I doubt animals would bother disturbing it.
Floods wash out lots of interesting stuff, in the 2011-12 big flood a body in a barrel was found lodged against a tree when the waters subsided, to gold nuggets being found in drains, furthermore people do get washed away never to found in flood waters, or go missing without a trace as you have previously post about missing persons - so prepare for it to be human.
If you can, go back and check it out, hopefully it's a Yowie skull or a rock.

Here's an interesting comparison between what I think is an water action exhumed skull and an intelligent best guess art prop of what
a Sasquatch skull "might" look like.
I intend on going back to the site this week....so fingers crossed the object is not just a paradolic effect of light and shadow in the film.
Cheers

Paul, you're doing a great job.
This link is to a shop that sells replica hominid skulls & skeletons for teaching purposes. It can be handy as a quick reference.
