Hello, everyone! I believe I never formally introduced myself, bad etiquette. I started following the forum in 2013 as I began researching US Bigfoot. I had a few incidents while living in a northern state and researched enough to find satisfactory answers to my situation. Of course, while looking into Bigfoot you cannot avoid Yowies and I was fascinated by your forum-I still think about the post 'Namadgi Visitor'-very interesting post. I have written that I had been living on a farm up north when Sasquatch activity (apparently) began. I'm not internet savvy so I suppose I just jumped in on your forum! HA! (Rude?) I value everyone's opinion and consider all situations.

I Have a few photos I'd like to post and I am wondering if you wouldn't mind posting your opinions. I'll try to clearly explain what I found in my yard yesterday. We've been having excessive rain (Springtime) and my area is flooding. We have not had excessive winds, though. Just heavy rain. We live in the country.

We had a break in the rain yesterday so I had been in the front yard checking on the newly planted irises. I found an impression. The impression does have 4 indentations toward the top and 1 indentation a bit off to the right. The impression is one inch deep. I could see that rain had washed over the impression-more toward the back of the print-we live on the side of a hill so water runs down instead of puddling. That is the only area in the yard that has exposed soil-I had just tilled it two weeks ago so I could replant the irises. If you look toward the far left deep shadow (is it a digit?) you can see that something compacted the soil-it's less clear as you work your way to the right. I made an impression with my foot next to the impression-you can see my impression was not that deep even though I hopped up and down in place to get a print. Those are the first few photos.

As I was walking around the yard putting fertilizer on the shrubs I saw a small stick-14" long standing up in the lawn next to the lilac bush. The stick was sunk vertically about 3/4" deep. VERY unusual-we've never had a stick just sticking out of the lawn like this. It is in a grassy/weedy area and we have little topsoil-mostly red clay. I continued to put fertilizer on the other shrubs and in another part of the yard I found ANOTHER stick-approximately 18"-that was poked into the ground but at an angle. It was also approximately 3/4" deep. We've not had strong winds with the rains. I've never seen any stick standing upright in my yard-only parallel to the ground-I pick those up before I mow the lawn. I don't believe such a lightweight stick would be able to penetrate the soil/grass to a depth of 3/4".

I would like to know your thoughts on the photos. I appreciate the effort! Thank you!

A few questions though

Was that print accompanied by any others? I would think with the ground being so wet there would be more than just one.

Does your property back onto a wooded area that could support a bigfoot population or provide access to such an area?

Have you had any other bigfoot related activity around your place?

Hi, Tim! Yes, we live in the country-chunks of forest, farmland, rivers. No other impression-I had just tilled the iris bed (it's a fairly large area) and the iris bed is surrounded by grass/weeds. The margin of soil (tilled two weeks ago) in front of the first row of irises isn't too wide-maybe 18". If something created that impression, if it is indeed a footprint, it would be very easy to avoid the exposed soil-walk on the grass. I did not see any indentations in the grass-just noted the impression at the front of the bed (and the sticks.) The yard is weedy/grassy-we don't have much topsoil-mostly red clay, packed rock not too far below surface. Not conducive for prints unless something very heavy were to make an impression. Very solid ground even when wet-of course, freshly tilled soil hasn't completely settled yet.

It's just that we've had a lot of rain-the soil should be smoothed by water-there is a bit of soil erosion due to the rain. It's raining again today. Our area is flooded.

No, there have been very few BFRO reports in my immediate area. That might reflect reticence , lack of knowledge about that particular database or non interest. I do live at the beginning of a mountain range-lots of hills/curves and it becomes more severe as you go south. There are reports in my state-mostly south/deep in the mountain range. I have not investigated our wooded area because I'm a bit reluctant to go alone. I'm am just noting what I found in the yard yesterday-just a bid odd.

Also-yes, plenty of game in the area-a very gun-happy populace,too.

I'm no expert but those tracks look clawed to me.

Ive seen sticks like that too. A researcher was on the forum with a similar find. I think ive seen them on utah sasquatch vids as well.

I have found sticks like this also , mostly around the 2-3 ft long and always stuck in the ground around an inch , it
reminds me of when you put a stick in a riverbed to rest your fishing rod on but there is absolutely no water anywhere near by .
No idea , but I just photograph them then leave them where I find them

I agree with Gavin, those prints definitely have three claw marks visible and I notice a narrowing of the heel. In my opinion not Bigfoot. I know I keep banging on about it but more like Dogman.

Claws? You made me think about it differently. I am wondering if those are finger indentations-possibly showing distortion by the condition of the soil at the time? The soil was smoothed over everywhere due to the rain, and it was at the front of the bed-how I noticed. The thing that really stood out was how the soil was compressed on the upper left side. So you think it could be a print from an uncommon visitor? We had torrential rain for 11 hours-ending this AM. Temperatures dropped-unusually cold right now. I will check the yard tomorrow to see if anything is amiss. I've never seen a small stick standing upright in our yard-I had thought that such a weak stick wouldn't be able to fall naturally and sink to that depth. I've seen photos of large sticks/branches pushed into the ground but never small ones.

It has been an enlightening experience to learn about these beings but I am not excited about having visitors at my home in another state-if this is what is happening. I truly do not go out at night after what happened up north.

I have shades, I have curtains. I have been replacing floodlights very often-every 2 or three months-they've been burning out quickly. I've been attributing that to the mounts. I keep the lights on all night. There are no lights other than what people have on their property-neighbors on each side of me have dusk to dawn lights but they are quite a distance away from me.

Senses-hoping not the Dogman! HA! I don't know much about those beings but I thought they kept to themselves and stayed away from residences-they like the wilderness, yes? This house has been here since the mid 1800's-I would think it wouldn't trigger curiosity.

Any comments/ideas are very welcome. In all honesty, the idea of having any type of being around my home makes me uncomfortable. You all know how creepy it would be if it were a human hanging around your property at night-other beings that have an unknown factor about them is worse.

I will be sure to post anything that is questionable. You know, I'm not one to try to draw anything to my property. I know many people are eager to communicate with them, I have never thought to do that myself.

Hello, again! I have found two more questionable areas in my yard and have taken photos. The first two photos shows a large tree stump with a huge mushroom surrounded by very tall phlox-the phlox plants are 3+ feet tall. You can see there is an area that has been flattened-the phlox plants are pressed downward. I had thought 'deer' and it's possible-I did not find any tracks in the area. Usually I can see deer tracks clearly when the soil is damp/wet.

The second photo I find odd. In a very large area of phlox and weeds , two logs are now cleared with a weird muddy section between them. You can see some plants are down and are mud covered, too. I cut that area perhaps 8 days ago and the area with the logs was not exposed. It's now a muddy mess and there are no animal footprints-the usual suspects would be raccoons, opossum or armadillos-tiny hands. No prints. one of the logs is really chunked out-it does look like recent activity. We do have woodpeckers but they don't do that type of damage.
