Heres an interesting image i just cant let go. I cant find where i took photo for a comparison shot so im posting it here with original photo in case someone has seen something similar. Its four shots taken in rapid succession with a bit of movement of the camera. Any comments appreciated.

Hi Lozza its a good area. Plenty of animals and a creek with lots of cover. It does look like something peering there.

It looks interesting .
The angle from behind the tree looks a little awkward. Not saying its not just looks awkward
is there a story behind this?

In the second frame it looks like eyes nose and mouth to me.In second pic in the far bottom left it could be a teepee the three sticks crossing.

There definitely looks to be a face there, and I'm usually the first to say "that image could literally be a picture of anything", but it does look like a face to me.

What recreational drugs are you people taking? I see nothing.

To the left of the thickest tree-trunk is where I'm looking.

These things are highly subjective, of course.

I think it's time to let this one go mate.

Whilst it does look a bit like a head/face peeking in the first pic, where is the rest of the body? The thing must be full of worms and built like the edge of a credit card to be fully concealed by that tree.

Not much of a story Chris. I wouldve heard or seen something to take those rapid multiple shots. Probably looking at the trees or branch things Lozza pointed out. I take proper burst shots now.

There seems to be blurred movement of " the head" in one frame and it looked a bit , yowie, bloke with beard" ape enough to persist with. I have deleted hundreds of similar photos but had to keep that one as i wasnt sure.

Yeah Lozza thats what i see and a bit of difference in positioning and expression.

Im not sure if thats a teepee but its like the blair witch project there sometimes. Lots of fallen branches and possible structures. Hard to tell which is which...

Thanks Tim. I see your point but i'm open to there being thinner types and tree is obscured by the one in front from what i can tell.

More than anything hoping someone actually seen something like this like a lurking witness or researcher.

I thought others may like a look also.

Yeah cant miss it. Yeah they are subjective. Interesting that most of us are seeing it the same. Heres a similar image from a different area. Must be very small if anything.

I must admit it does looks like a face but its very small whatever it is, plus as been mentioned above there is no body behind the tree/sapling, the image is more than likely the end of a log, branch or rock.

Classic case of pareidolia.

Nice to see it being put forward and discussed though.

It's possible there could be a body behind the vegetation where the tree meets the bottom of the face

Good job yowie bait - your effort is much appreciated mate

Fair enough points Dion. Could be the dreaded paeredoilia. I have been caught out so many times but something about the image keeps me wondering , otherwise it would have long been deleted along with many others.

I shouldve mentioned that i am looking for the smaller yowie types like kuritjah and junjarri so size of it isnt an issue for me.

Yeah its great to have the forum at our disposal for some honest and occasionally brutal comnents and opinions. No point getting upset over it if not getting the answers we want to hear. We are all searching for the truth after all!

Thanks Huxley. I will check that out! Its zoomed full so a bit murky. I will put up original pics later in case anyone interested.

Here is the original photos with one with the red circle guide. I can see what Huxley is talking about in one shot in particular where there could possibly be part of a body or something else protuding under what we are calling the head.

From what i can tell, whatever it is,is on or behind the darker tree, only partly visible behind lighter tree in foreground.

Thanks everyone for commenting. (thumb)

If theres anything ive learnt from all this is to take note or use gps if your taking photos in case you need a comparison shot.

It's weird YB,
Why were attracted and focused into that one snippet from the original photo... !

There are other dimensions out there people.
I believe once you see seem, you always will.
It's a gift (thumb up) .

Respect it and ye shall see and accept.

Good one YB (respekt) to having the balls to put this up.

Thanks Welly. Its true we need to keep an open mind in regards to the hairy men. (taz)

I go through some photos with a fine tooth comb and always find something interesting . The Australian bush is full of secrets!

I dont think the hairys are going to give anyone that clear and concise photo or video just yet. The buggers have no problem watching us though! (woot) (thumb up)

Hi Yb. When I first saw your image I saw a black labrador lurking about up in the scrub,
then it became a bit Gorillarish, then a demon and eventually a piece off wood.
It definitely looks like an animal head and maybe a body going off to the right hand side.
I think it's one of the better images of this type I've seen for a while.

High definition photos taken in quick succession, then turned into a gif image is a great technique for this type of work

You get a much better depth of field than just a still image

Keep up the good work yowie bait

Hi Tuckeroo. I went through a similar thought process. I wrote it off as fungus at one point as there is fungus on a few trees in the picture and was more interested in the strange image on the other side of tree. When looking at a later date, it seemed more like a being with slight movement. One fellow reckons it looks like Alf, the alien from 80s tv show! Someone else said a dog as well. My nephew say its an evil monkey.

Thanks Huxley. Theyre good with up close images especially but usually have to zoom full if far away and it fuzzes out.Anyone with decent computer skills would do a better job as i need to fully zoom them for screenshots to make the animation.

Not much different from a video if you take a proper burst shot. With a decent camera and telescopic lense it would be excellent especially if you were in an active area and getting stalked or observed.

It would work great with an 8footer! I take burst shots instead of video as everyone says they can sense it or whatever. Easier format for me to work with as well.

In the first gif you posted it seemed like it was maybe something. But looking at the original full size pic it seems to me to be too small. Like 30cm tall monkey...the tree it is behind is what 10cm thick (a guess) and it's skull would have to be smaller than that???
Just 2 cents as I'm not a photo expert....
