I'm kinda ready to speak, but kinda not. If I only say a little now and then, it could come across as a rant. But it might help me let it out. There may be others out there who are like me. you may have to join my threads together to get a fuller picture. I'm not crazy, but I am alive, it let me back out and walk away.

Sounds full on mate. If your talking yowie encounter maybe good to talk about it with someone like Dean or Paul Cropper. Im sure some forum members would love to hear about it as well.

I shared my encounter on the forum in my first post and then frantically looked for delete button but there was none! No one even bothered to say hello to me but i think thats good as it may be rare to have an encounter but there are many others and its not really a big deal in the end after all.

Its certainly a wake up call to the true reality of our Aussie bush though. Nice to know the truth about something at least!

Would like to hear what you have to say. I have never had an encounter, but I believe, So many people come forward with encounters, Yowie's must be true.

Thanks for the support. I’m sorry, I don’t think I am ready to talk about my encounter yet. My encounter will unnerve many people, and I am hesitant to put that fear out there. WARNING I may rant. I do believe governments know of the existence of these creatures, but their silence has far reaching implication. I have my views/opinions which I believe are necessary to share, however, I will differentiate them from the facts. There is so much to say, however, as time will reveal my caution, I must exercise sensitivity in more ways than one. I believe I risk being silenced, by way of ridicule and alienation I choose my words carefully. Take note when I choose the words ‘I believe’ and ‘I know’. I wrestle with myself about speaking. On one hand, I am spreading fear, and on the other hand, necessary information. Let us explore both hands for a moment. Dean Harrison has done an admirable job with Yowie research and You Tube videos. I have so much to thank him for. His dedication has given me a resource of eye witness information and his own factual investigations, compel me to use his information as a reference point. I find Dean Harrison as a very credible investigator. In Dean’s video, ‘Australian Big Foot, Real Yowie Encounters’(part one 3.45-4.28), he mentions how the official reason for silence is to prevent public hysteria. With the information I have, I can relate to that. But the other side of me puts up a very responsible argument. Let’s say we planned to travel overseas. If the government considers the area is unsafe, they convey that message so we can make an informed decision on our travel plans. If we were taking a walk through a park and there was the possibility of crossing paths with a snake, the council would erect a sign warning of the potential danger. We again take this information into consideration along with safety measures. My point is I believe the government has an obligation to tell us of the existence of these creatures so we may take the necessary precautions. Now I will say something which increases my risk to being silenced. If there is no official recognition of such a creature, what would stop a secret government body from culling. If you think that idea is absurd, consider this very countries own shameful history regarding indigenous people. Times may change but human nature does not. The Tasmanian Tiger was hunted into extinction because of fear. This idea put forward however is merely conjecture. Like I said, I will separate the facts from my own thoughts, however, when the dots are joined, you may well see things from a different perspective. The governments may also not want to deal with the issue on their watch. It is a can of worms. Half Man half Beast. Human rights Issues. Political Correctness. They don’t know how to deal with it. Everyone is always thinking of the dollars. The effect on tourism, property values etc. The Yowie is the last remaining, truly free Australian, lives off the grid, doesn’t pay taxes, and lives life on his own terms. Now this next bit will sound like paranoia. If the powers to be really want the creature’s existence to remain unofficial, then websites like this are obviously a funnel for all who are interested in the subject, so big brother may be watching. I will use this site to get information to those who are interested. I will speak of my encounter when I am ready. On a final note for this thread, these creatures I believe can be dangerously aggressive, but not always. You are seriously putting your lives at risk when searching for these creatures. Consider you have gone bush bashing in your four-wheel drive. Your track is blocked by a fallen tree. You must exit your vehicle to move the tree. Evidence suggests they are ambush hunters. Just giving you food for thought. The fact that I was allowed to live suggests to me there is intelligence with the creatures. I got out of there with my mullet intact. Thanks Dean, for this website. Mullet, It would be great to hear your story. I agree that there would definatley be people of authority who have some knowledge. Its also hard for people in certain jobs to admit to something that has been officially classified. That's just typical of some jobs. Conspiracy? or Corporate style Control of information? Difference is?

Some great insightful information there Mullet Yowie you are right about governments knowing about these creatures and have absolutely no idea how to inform the public without causing widespread panic and instant hunting parties out for the kill. The big thing in Yowies favour is I don't believe he will ever be captured dead or alive even though there have been sporadic reports back in early colonial history of an occasional shooting/killing although I'm somewhat dubious with those reports.
Yes, Dean Harrison is a very creditable research/investigator as evident by the number of views he has with his experiences with Yowies.

Don't reveal anything publicly that you suspect may be used against you, but I'd urge you to speak with the people who run this forum as they may be able to support you, or even simply understand what you've experienced.

If this was an Albert Ostman style experience, it must've been indescribably frightening. Even a sighting would scare the living hell out of me based on what I've read and heard over the years.

The bulk of 'public servants' are too busy looking busy with their own little drawer in the big cupboard that is guvmint to care. The 'buck' of responsibility can always be passed on.

In saying that I am fairly certain a very tiny portion of the beurocrapsy is well aware of the need to protect the guvmint from the very costly lawsuits that would ensue from disclosure. This small group would obviously be well aware of this forum and no doubt check in fairly regularly.

But they don't need to do anything 'men-in-black' for one simple reason... the power of ridicule. If anyone came forward with anything threatening to the status quo, they would be easily shut up with their favourite weapon, the media.

Also one should always bear in mind the operation of law. 'They' allow even the most frightening conspiracy facts to be published because they can then always rebut any accusation with the 'fact' that the public WAS informed to anybody doing their due diligence. If anyone had any reason to protest they had every opportunity to do so by bringing their protest before the courts.

This fact is the reason people like Alex Jones (who very accurately foretold 9/11 on his live shows in the months and weeks leading up to the event) are 'allowed' to stay free.

To sum up... stay mum if you wish, but please don't worry about being 'shut up' by big bro. Unless you are revealing locations of secret underground facilities you will be allowed to express your experiences freely. After all, who is going to believe you other than a handful of 'crazies' on an obscure forum discussing Bigfoot for chrissakes...

I probably would'nt even be worried about the paranoia.

Anything associated with this topic is easily disregarded as fringe and crazy and even if something 'water tight' was leaked ( no pun intended ) to the press it would sink so quickly that you would not have to worry.

I agree that there should be some kind of warning for bush goers but its riddled with issues. Any type of signage basically confirms its existence....then starts all the problems.
If someone disappears in the bush and its Yowie related - it will be just diagnosed as a bush disappearance and nothing else. Theres no evidence of an attack and if there is , well it just gets taken away and conveniently vanishes.

This topic is booby trapped every turn. If you did get hassled by the gov well you must have something pretty juicy to start with....AND if you did decide to take it to the press - your back at square one ( read above )

So you might as well spill the beans ( if you wish ). Use aliases and change the location to somewhere else and type away. I'm pretty sure if there are gov operatives on this forum they know whats a risk and whats not.

As I said - I've got no juicy details to spill - just someone who like talking about these creatures and hearing the stories and sorting thru the BS to get the best picture possible.
