Has there been any indication of yowies conversing other than grunts, howling & whistling? I have an idea, but am not going to put it forward until I have more information.

i have heard the loud howling coming from deep in the bush in the night...it just went like wooooo and got lower like a cartoon bomb whisteling to the ground...what ever made the sound had a larger lung copacity then a human(me and a few of my mates tried but couldnt hold it for as long as it did...and nowhere near as loud) but it still sounded a little like a human...it is impossible i think for apes to talk as they have a different shaped voice box...but i guess yowies may not

Every animal talks/comminicates in it's own way... Unreasonable to think otherwise.

Paleontologists now believe that Neandertal man had a lyrical speach that was part talk and part song, rather than simply grunting.

Amerindian BigFoot legends tell of bigfoot using wistles, bird calls and immitating animals sounds.

Two recorded abductions by bigfoots in the US report that when taken to the larger group of bigfoot, that the bigfoots "murmured" amongst themselves.

That of course does not mean that yowies have speach. However, it would not be unreasonable to assume that they have some form of communication method, that could perhaps be similar to that employed by bigfoot.

They are certainly intelligent primates, just how intelligent and how capable of speach is open to speculation.

I was working at Bunya Riverside early one morning near Allen Rd last year or year before there is alot of bushland around the estate and you could hear this howling then the dogs started barking sounded exactly like the Ohio bigfoot . When I was in Cairns Barron Falls, nighttime full moon this thing in the dense rainforest was going off jibbering and screaming most probably had a fight with the misses we shone a torch in its direction trees were shaking all over the place.
