I'm driving from Bathurst to Wagga Wagga in NSW next week. Does anyone know if there are any hotspots I'll be going through? Has ther been many sightings of yowies from cars? If so are they mostly at night? I'll be going through Cowra and Young and everywhere else between.

Hi Wazza,

I live at Wentworth falls but I also have a 600 acre farm at Koorawatha. The farm is closer to Boorowa Rd than the Young Rd. There have been some reported sightings by locals along the Bang Bang Ranges which straddle the Boorowa Rd just past Morongla. I would keep an eye out From Morongla for the next 40kms or so going towards Boorowa. The ranges also straddle the Young Rd at Koorawatha so you may have some luck at night there.

Thanks

phil

Everywhere & anywhere could be a hot spot ! Just read through some of the reports and locations . They are seen pretty much any old place and at any old time ! Night driving is always going to be a hit and miss affair but you should always be on the look out for any of our native friends !

I grew up not far from Wagga.

I can recall a member of the forum who lives in Wagga.

She told me an interesting story a while back but the details are a bit sketchy now.

132, b_r_j. Give her a pm.

Just read the date.

Sorry I didn't see it sooner. What's the verdict in the Riverina?

Well, I wagga'd. Nothing to report. The hairiest creature I came close to was myself.
