I was just watching this video of Rustys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukWP8tT0YQs
At about the 5:49 timestamp I can clear as day see a black face watching Rusty through a 'hole' in the leaves.

This is not, in my humble opinion, yet another example of pareidolia...

Its a bit of a shock really... :-)

Looks very very similar to Robert Dodsons videos of bigfoot... if i can dig those out i'll share those screen grabs too.

I see a green face, with "Tim burton" styled eye makeup. And well done Thumper, to spot that. I,ll bet that many seasoned researchers missed that.

Thanks. It lept out at me from the screen, when I saw it. Hence the ‘shock’.

Believe it or not it is dead foliage , hope your not too disappointed . I had someone pick up that one before .
I'll grab the actual footage when I can and show you .

Here's the video , maybe not DEAD foliage but foliage anyway , it does look like something but I don't think it is .

If you grab the slider button on the playback window you can "rock it" back and forth .

Im sure they would be watching Rusty and others and having a good look at what you all are up to!

thanks for sharing rusty. When blown up like that it doesn't look so certain. But i'll be darned if that isn't the weirdest case of pareidolia I've ever seen.

I captured similar lights in differing directions. Below shows one example photo without and one with the lights.

My only rational is Firefly?

Below is either a face or pareidolia that was recorded in the Watigans in 2002.

Quite easily pareidolia. Not as contrasting as the stills from Rusty's video.

Hey Thumper yeah it's probably the most convincing one I've seen .
Hey Dean , I spoke to an entimologist about those lights and she said that firefly distribution went most of the way to the victorian border . Your photo looks like something similar doesn't it . I remember "Didge" saying he saw some of those yowie related lights .

Hey Rusty, when I watch your style of setting up your gear and standing around explaining everything for the benefit of your viewers (ie people like me) I’ve often thought that it makes too much of a big scene. Its a dead give away that they should stay away. It’s so obvious to them that they should avoid the area etc.
I wish there were a way to do it unobtrusively. Like pretend you’re a gold prospector rather than a yowie researcher and surreptitiously drop a rock with a cam in it. Or have some ‘tourists’ build a rock stack with a cam in it.
From what I can tell they can and do profile us humans based on behaviour and clothing etc...and they know which of us need wider berths. I’m sure they treat ‘yowie initiates’ differently to yowie un-initiates. So you have the highest suspicion rating of all humans. Not only do you know about them, but you leave cams in their territory!!! Avoid at all costs!!!
Anyway i just thought I’d share some thoughts with ya. Take em or leave em.

Hey Thumper . I'm sure they see many people in the forest doing various things from growing drugs , campers , people using chainsdaws to collect wood and forest workers themselves doing maintenance ,

I wear jeans and a t-shirt , a jacket maybe if it's cold so I'm dressed like anyone else . It's probably a new scenario for them and I'm not quite sure if they actually know for sure what it is I'm actually doing .

The thing is , their curiosity is their downfall and no matter what , I believe they will try to get a good peek at what it is I've left behind . My main problem is , which way will they peek from ?

Unless there's something super important that I've captured on the cameras , I usually never go back there so the intrusion is minimal and I don't usually have any problems .

I want to leave them undisturbed as much as possible .
