I thought it might be amusing to make a thread where people might like to post anything humourous about cryptozoology and cryptids.

I've seen some of the ones that have been getting around the 'net for decades, but sometimes, something new comes along that is worth a chuckle, or admiration for cleverness.

So, if you have found anything image-wise that fits the bill, go for it.

While flying back from Adelaide recently, I caught sight of this lunchbox at the Adelaide airport 'Smiggle' store (Aussie based stationery supplies with a mega-cute factor)...





it's also available as a pencil case, just the thing for the avid Crypto fan, LOL.

Not actually funny, but this is from an old issue of the KORG 70,000 BC comic (1975 or thereabouts).

It's always intrigued me, and I thought it belonged in this thread.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was something that belonged here or not - the old Korg comics were different than the kid's TV show, which was meant to be educational. The comic had all sorts of 'Chariots of the Gods' stuff going on in it where they'd meet Atlanteans who had robots, hovercraft, laser guns and stuff like that and who looked like 70's style 'futuristic' characters in terms of their clothes, etc. There were also ape-men they'd fight, as well as wizards and the like.

It's a bit of a forgotten classic. There was also this, which intrigued me as a kid...

Ad for an American theme park of the late 1950's.
