I thought it might be amusing to make a thread where people might like to post anything humourous about cryptozoology and cryptids.
I've seen some of the ones that have been getting around the 'net for decades, but sometimes, something new comes along that is worth a chuckle, or admiration for cleverness.
So, if you have found anything image-wise that fits the bill, go for it.

While flying back from Adelaide recently, I caught sight of this lunchbox at the Adelaide airport 'Smiggle' store (Aussie based stationery supplies with a mega-cute factor)...
it's also available as a pencil case, just the thing for the avid Crypto fan, LOL.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was something that belonged here or not - the old Korg comics were different than the kid's TV show, which was meant to be educational. The comic had all sorts of 'Chariots of the Gods' stuff going on in it where they'd meet Atlanteans who had robots, hovercraft, laser guns and stuff like that and who looked like 70's style 'futuristic' characters in terms of their clothes, etc. There were also ape-men they'd fight, as well as wizards and the like.
It's a bit of a forgotten classic. There was also this, which intrigued me as a kid...
Sorry TBS, I don't have the capability to do that (move or delete posts), but don't worry about it. If you want to post it in the Wildlife thread, you'll have to do it from scratch
Thanks though!

Today I learned that “Wild Man” by Kate Bush (she of the 'Wuthering Heights' song fame) on her 2011 "50 Words For Snow" album was Kate’s reflection on the legend of the Abominable Snowman. In the album’s promotional interviews, Kate admitted she believed in the mysterious beast. So here, for your edification, is the track in question....
Lyrics:
They call you an animal
The Kanchenjunga Demon
Wild man
Metoh, Kangmi
Lying in my tent
I can hear your cry
Echoing 'round the mountainside
You sound lonely
While crossing the Lhakpa La
Something jumped down from the rocks
In the remote Garo hills by Dipu Marak
We found footprints in the snow
The schoolmaster of Darjeeling said
We saw you by the Tengboche monastery
You were playing in the snow
You were banging on the doors
You climbed up on the roof
Roof of the world
You were pulling up the rhododendrons
Loping down the mountains
They want to know you
They will hunt you down
Then they will kill you
Run away, run away
Run away
While crossing the Lhakpa La
Something jumped down from the rocks
In the remote Garo hills by Dipu Marak
We found footprints in the snow
We found your footprints in the snow
We brushed them all away
From the Sherpas of Annapurna
To the Rinpoche of Qinghai
Shepherds from Mount Kailash to Himachal Pradesh
Found footprints in the snow
You're not a langur monkey,
Nor a big brown bear
You're the wild man
They say they saw you drown
In the Rongbuk glacier
They want to hunt you down
You're not an animal
The lamas say
You're not an animal

Hi Shaz , my 5yo grandsons absolutely love " The son of bigfoot " , watch it all the time , even Pa has been known to
sit and watch it , but only to tell them when some "poetic licence " is taking place
Cheers Greg
