New Movie called THE MEG.

There's a new movie about to hit a silver screen near you. It's called THE MEG and stars action man hero Jason Statham.
This super immense beast makes the legendary Jaws look like a sardine.

The Meg is out on DVD now. Anyone seen it? Is it any good?

Yes i have seen it at the cinema. It is completely clichéd over the top of course but a fun action flick and worth renting. Funny in parts with a few scary bits. The complex they are in looks great also.

Thanks Yowie bait. I thought it might involve the usual american cliche(s). That's why I didn't go to movies to see. I will watch it on DVD, just for interest sake. However, I must admit I am partial to these types of movies, anything crypto or alien. Thanks again for report.

Finally got around to watching The Meg. Being a long time fan of action man Jason Statham, the movie got a head start.
Thought it was a little slow in the first half hour building the plot... then all hell breaks loose!
Fairly predictable, but fun to see a 21st Century version of those classic Jaws movies.
