Some in the comments are saying tree stump... not in that country, too thick... no trees that big.

Not sure, to be honest. The right arm is either too short or if it's a Yowie, is flexed at the elbow with the lower arm not visible.
Texturally, it looks shaggy, and the head 'cone' shape is clear enough.
What's the context behind the photo, as in, why was it taken? Was it a random photo of the bush, or did the photographer see or hear something?
That's the complementary background we need, really, to make a suggestion either way.
Nice find, Wolf!

I agree.
He replies to every comment on youtube... maybe ask him if no-one else has?

Well, I did, only to find you'd asked the question exactly as I phrased it here....thanks for that.
Anyway, his response, for those that are interested, was "School bus trip to the Murchison Station and the place where they are building the SKA (sky kilometre Array) . Random pics taken and not noticed till they returned, they say, but I think it's a hoax. Your thoughts?"
And the Square Kilometre Array is a CSIRO site, very cool place.

Yeah, after posting I thought I may as well ask...
I have always been intrigued by sightings in such arid places, just goes to show how resourceful these animals can be I suppose.
