Do cameras smell?

While browsing through youtube about bigfoot footages (of course most of them show nothing), I saw the following comment, don't know if this is useful:

After you put in zip bag put in another zip bag with pinenedals zip it air right shut NOW THIS IS THE TRICKY PART GET A RAZER TIP SCALPEL CUT OUT A SMALL HOLE JUST FOR THE CAMRA PART THAT TAKES PICS .AND THIS WILL BLOCK OUT THE SMELL AND BEFORE THAY SEE IT THAY SMELL it my friends .and if you are really serious bring a ladder have a friend hold it put the camera up way high taller then them but facing down .and make sure to put tree limes all around even if you have to tie them.
