Hi all,
stumbled across this great site and forum a couple of months back, and have spent most of that time reading it......awesome and sometimes "spooky" to say the least.
I've been a lone camper / fisho and 4 wheeler for the last 35 years or so,and have predominantly travelled the Far West Coast of SA (Yalata and Dog Fence areas) the Yorke Peninsula SA,the SE Coorong area and the Riverland areas of SA (Morgan,Cadell and Loxton).
I've never seen anything, but after reading a lot of this info here, can say I've possibly " heard a lot".
At times when the whole place "suddenly" goes quiet, and an eerie feeling of being watched, even though you know you're miles away from anyone else........random noises, thumps( tree knocks?) rustling trees/shrubs,whistles and chirps etc in the bush in the middle of the night;some seemingly only literally 20 yards away from me in my swag.......not previously paid much attention to them, but in hindsight, who knows?
I will definitely take more notice in the future!
Not sure if this is the spot for intro's,but didn't see one, sorry.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Outback Lurker. Yes. They may be the world's best hide and seek players but they can't hide noise. Try putting out a sony notetaker continuously recording while you sleep. It's amazing what they pick up. Look forward to hearing more from you.. cheers Dave
