trailcam weirdness part two.

I had to attend an appointment out of town so I left the trailcam in the hands of my friend. the trailcam was set up in the same location in the forest as last time. even though I SAID - don't use bait this time. bait was used (roast chicken remains suspended two metres above ground with heavy duty stainless steel zip ties). camera was checked 25 hours after initial set up. bait completely gone. zip ties gone also. and once again when the action shots should be there. guess what - NOTHING. a few peculiar photos and the trailcam even appears to malfunction and then functions normally again. date is correct however time is not right and cannot be adjusted. as mentioned previously a common problem with the bulletproof trailcams. anyways here are the photos:

bait was suspended from one of the trees in the centre of the camera. even though it's not visible in the photos.

LOL the "Bullet Proof" logo in the bottom corner.
Roast chicken works but wouldnt use it.
Next time you hang something can you photograph it close up.
I think a bird could land on the chicken with its claws and rip it off
but that doesnt explain the zip ties not even being in the ground.

Has no one in the history of BF research, anywhere in the world, managed to capture bait thieves?

Hahaha, poor scrubby!
I'm playing devil's advocate here, but it's possible someone is messing with you and the camera. Is it able to be switched off from where it is positioned without removing it from the tree? If the picture view in frame has changed, that would indicate physical tampering...

The photos with the zebra crossing is strange .
I remember Neil Frost had electronic noise in one of his photos from a FILM camera .

Very interesting trailcam photos. The 3rd one down, "something very odd - right side bottom", looks weird. Can't imagine what could be causing that 'steps' effect
One thing is certain, it sure ain't the start of the stairway to heaven!

no one could mess with the camera it's in a remote area that requires 3 kilometres of walking and well away from the trail on an animal trail. it's very odd that when that great photo should be there it's NOT. it's either some interference or just plain NOTHING.
I have seen the YouTube videos of Neil Frost and Ian Price. Ian is an all round riot - he is my favourite YOWIE interview person.

I got more consistent photos of wildlife and no interference when there was no bait used.

Missm4mi, have you thought about gifting with gemstones rather than food? Rule out other things that could be taking food..
Would you prefer to be seen as the person with magic stones or as a source of food? Lol

It isnt a snake or goanna. Even a fast snake leaves push marks on each S bend on there tracks. It is a very interesting track and has got me puzzled.

Its no snake. Its a dragged stick track, in my opinion. Is that proof that humans go there, or do yowies leave stick marks in sand? I would like to know.

no garden light. look closely the white parts are semi transparent.
pertsy80 I have gifted next to a giant tepee structure. I left and a vase with lid which was no doubt regifted to me. a Saint Mary pendant from the op shop and a crystal. after checking the spot two months later. the crystal was gone and other objects still there. my conclusion - yowie likes bling. yowie is not religious and yowie hates awful ugly regifted vases.

Crows and bowerbirds are well known to take shiny trinkets.
Just another possible culprit.

Yes, very true but would create a junkie by gifting with such things?
You only have to look at human junkies and see what they would do to get their next hit..
If you were to go down the food path, wouldn't it be wise to use foods that can be accessed in the wild around that area?
We can't even be sure that the foods we eat are necessarily good for them, ie Chocolates, Sugars, Nuts and wheat..

Hi hillbilly , with the amount of vehicle tracks in the pic , humans definitely go there
Cheers Greg
