I'm surprised in the lack of recent reports of Yowie activity along the mid north coast it seems that SE Queensland and areas around Blue mountains are seeing all the action so if anyone from mid north coast wants to share a story that would be a great.

Thanks yowiedan I have seen all of the reports on the main board but no recent reports from this year I'm looking for the latest reports.I have been walking in the bush every day for the last week and have noticed heaps of yowie signs so I know they are around just thought there would be some recent reports like the one last week from Queensland it seems people aren't reporting their sightings

Just south of Kendall is Middle Brother National Park. This mountain has arisen in private correspondence over the years and we did an Audio Report (#111), not long ago (albeit an old one).

There is also an Audio Report (#32) from Hannam Vale, a stones throw away. I can also direct you to Audio Report #59 from Wauchope.

Middle Brother Mountain seems to be consistent in terms of private conversations. However keep in mind, not all the best areas have consistent "recorded or reported" sightings. Some of the best areas rarely get a public mention. You can easily come across an location where you are having experiences, that is yet to be documented. All those mountain ranges from Kendall to Kempsey are active. Not one of them wouldn't have a Yowie clan living there. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Its a numbers game. The more time you spend out there, the greater chances you have. Eventually something will happen, but you have to spend the night time hours sitting very quietly off the beaten track.

Just west of Kempsey is another area that is regularly spoken about.

The areas surrounding Coffs Harbour are definitely the most frequent, recent and interesting. That is the most active location.

The thing with “ evidence “ is that basically all evidence can be explained away in this country, let’s start from scratch and the simple things
Foot prints,? They are never consistent
Hair samples.? Umm next question
Rock stacks.? Yes maybe definitely, but so do humans
Tree breaks.? Yes maybe definitely, but if you’ve ever seen a greater glider smash it’s way thru trees or watched a large roo break a small tree to eat the leaves .
Tree knocks.? Trees often rub together and sometimes a tree will make these sounds before it finally falls over
Rock throwers.? Unless you see who’s throwing the rocks it’s not a yowie
Screams vocals and grunts.? Again, unless you can see what’s making the noise, it’s not a yowie ,
But this is a short list and very incomplete, if you have something to add, I’d be interested,
Ps I forgot tree bites, don’t get me started ,
