Buck - Wisemans Ferry

Hi Buck,

You mentioned a possible sighting at Wisemans Ferry. Can you expand on this, as it has always been an area of fascination for me and I spent a lot of time there during the late 90's.

I'd like to hear about it too.
The in-laws have a holiday place there, the kids go out there every so often for the weekend.

The sighting at Wisemans' Ferry comes from a friend of mine. It happened after a party where my lovely wife jibed me about my new 'fascination' and was subsequently ridiculed thereafter by all party go-ers.

However, one my ridiculers came forward a week later and told me that in two separate conversations independant of each other, his father and brother after many years of silence had had encounters.

He was shocked to say the least, as his family had nothing to gain from the disclosure, had never met me nor discussed it with each other.

The thing that struck me was he said his father is a man that 'Never lies'

I am hopefully going to catch up with him soon and ask permission to be a bit more candid about the encounters.

Sorry, I know it sounds like tease, hopefully I'll get you the details you wish to hear.

It was satisying to get a hit after dropping Yowie into numerous conversations with friends and strangers for over ten months. It was worth the ridicule.

Cheers Buck

What are the percentages of people who have had encounters and say nothing to anyone, I wonder?

More often than not i'd say they don't mention it at all.
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.

I contacted my friend, he said it's fine for Dean to e-mail him. I've passed on the address.

Cheers Buck
