Intersting quote from hubby, "its only yowies" , Presumably as of 1972 he was aware of them... wonder if he had had previous encounters?

Yeah Greg her hubby's response sounds as though he knew about them or may have seen one himself.
Another great report from the border ranges. She found out quickly not to talk about her experience.
It’s also another example of Yowies appearing in front of vehicles in the middle of nowhere.
I liked the artwork in this vid, I remember those old Holdens.

Yes great artwork, but perhaps some minor mods required to the tail lights. HR had the sort of upper and lower cut-off trangle tail lights. HR wagon was my 1st car, tail light depicted seem more like 2 models earlier, circa 1964. But I am not really complaining., its great stuff

You’re right. It is an EH I drew. Don’t know why I mixed it up with a HR. Had fun drawing it though. The truck’s an old Bedford. I though that would have suited the period. Dean did a great job of using the images to help narrate the account. Thanks for the feedback. I’m currently doing some more illustrations for AYR and hope to hand them in soon.
