"YETI OR YOWIE FOOTPRINTS HAVE BEEN ALLEGEDLY FOUND SEVERAL TIMESALONG THE TRACK . IN 1898A VISITOR CLAIMED TO HAVE BUMPED INTO A 2.4M-TALL"HUMAN"COVERED IN HAIR THAT FLED ON ALL FOURS"

PERHAPS SOMEONE WITH CONTACTS IN TASSIE MAY BE ABLE TO CHECK THIS OUT . THERE IS NO OTHER INFO SUPPLIED WITH THE STORY

I live in Tassie. Theres been some activity down here in the past few months. I've talked to over 8 eye witnesses that have either seen or heard something undescribalbe. Their descriptions and scetches match that of a yowie.

I'd like to find out where that Overland track and check it out.

Cheers

ALL I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT IT IS A HIKING TRACK AND IS CONTROLLED BY NATIONAL PARKS . THAT IS ALL I KNOW .
