Bush fires

Unread post by thehairyone »

Hi all , I know this has been bought up before as to the possible survival of our hirsute friends during a bush fire , but over the
Easter break my family and I went camping in the absolute middle of nowhere near the township of Walhalla in Vic which only 5 weeks ago
was a raging inferno , whilst the devastation was immense ( we drove for miles in the burnt out area ) there were pockets of land that seemed untouched , and whilst I know the ambient heat would of been extreme there are a lot of rivers etc where shelter could be taken . If they can really move as fast as we think and they can and they went side ways and didn't try to out run the fires , they would have no problem surviving , in my opinion .
You don't survive for thousands of years without picking up a few tricks
