Hey I'm new here, my names nathan and I live in melton, which is just west of melbourne. I've been interested in yowies/bigfoot for a long time and I believe they're out there.
I've never had an encounter but my dad and and mum have had a weird thing happen, don't know if it was a yowie or something else.
Anyway it was a while ago when they lived in Wynnum, Queensland. One night they went into the laundry and they're dog followed, as they walked in the room was freezing, the dog ran straight out, they walk over to the window looked out and there was something standing out behind a bush with red eyes just starring right back at them, they quickly left the room. Don't know what it was.
Does anyone know if the areas around melton are good spots for yowies, like in the Lerderderg and wombat state parks aswell as Macedon Regional Park as these parks are quite close together and cover a big area.

In Wynnum?! I've never heard of any yowies being in the wynnum area. Out of curiosity, which part of wynnum was this in?

Wynnum ?? Good question. I spent a lot of my misguided youth in the area & can't think of anywhere overly obvious where a Yowie would be. Let me know wher & aproximate year of sighting. It's also quite possible that I may actually know one or both of your parents, depending on their age ( I'm in my early forties ).
Cheers

sounds intresting a yowie in wynum, well i geuss that they would have to move into new ereas to and the amount of sightings all over the ereas seem to be that they like to be on the move , and with the heat and bad hot whether down in victoria ereas and nsw if any, i reckon the yowies would be driven up into new south wales and qld to aviod the fires and heat . animals migrate to aviod the cold so why not the heat from bush fires to and development ereas, so it looks like ereas that dont or never had yowies in them may soon find one there if the fires keep poping up
