ROSWELL - fact or fiction?

The Roswell crash is arguably the world’s most famous UFO incident. One thing is absolutely certain, something did crash in New Mexico in the summer of 1947. What it actually was is the BIG question and has been the source of much debate ever since.

It all began for the public when the Roswell Daily Record splashed the headline “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region”. This information came from a press release issued by the Public Information Officer, Lt. Walter Haut at RAAF (Roswell Army Air Field) as instructed by Base Commander Colonel William Blanchard.

As everyone now knows, General Roger Ramey got wind of the crash and immediately changed the story. He said the crash was not a flying disc as originally stated, but just a weather balloon. He then conducted a press conference and displayed bits of ‘wreckage’ that were obviously from a balloon.

The time was just after the end of World War 11 and the military still wielded a lot of power and respect. If the army said something back then, the consensus was it must be right. There was little questioning on what the public were told.

It was not until the 1960’s that Stanton Friedman became the first civilian to fully document the Roswell incident. He supported the hypothesis it was a genuine crash of an alien spacecraft. The public sat up and took notice. It was the start of a new era of investigation about what crashed at Roswell.

So looking back, it must be asked why the military make such a monumental blunder? How is it possible to one minute say they had captured a flying saucer and the next to say it was just a pile of sticks and tinfoil? Is it possible they were that incompetent?

No, it is much more likely that the Generals in command realised the enormous value of the craft and its alien technology and the ramifications of releasing this knowledge to the world. So they did what they thought was best for U.S. national security and prepared a cover story. The rest is history.

For more than 70 years, UFO investigators have strived to uncover the real truth to this fascinating story. There are many eyewitnesses, perhaps hundreds, who claim to have first hand experience with the crashed craft, the memory metal, the advanced technology and the aliens who were on board. It’s simply not an option to claim that each and every one is deluded, mistaken or lying. Unfortunately many witnesses are now dead so the closely guarded secret has largely been kept.

Perhaps this thread can help enlighten more people as to the weight of good evidence. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And with the Roswell case file, it continues to billow.

ROSWELL - FACT.

I have always been amazed by the number of supposedly highly intelligent human beings in all walks of life who have been beguiled by the extraterrestrial factor and the Roswell Incident.
It is impossible to approach this subject in any other way except through the paranormal element no science involved here.

In my opinion, the Roswell UFO crashes did occur and I have no doubt that Area 51 has other life forms secretly stored away. Since I've become a devotee of John A Keel I like him no longer use the term alien or extraterrestrials instead converting to his analogy of ultraterrestrials that is UFO occupants he believed to be non-human entities capable of taking on whatever form they want.
John Keel also invented the phrase Men In Black.

In both cases of ultraterrestrials and the Men In Black, I'm thinking that he believed that these were non-human entities capable of shapeshifting (demons) very much as I do.
While this great deception continues humanity will never know the truth.

Hi senses,
I agree with you that the Roswell crash did occur but, surprise, surprise… we are polar opposites on the identity of the occupants! It is very possible to approach this subject with some science and to take note of the many eyewitness accounts of the Roswell crash. Supernatural entities couldn't be killed off in a craft crash could they? If they were real, of course not. It's just a flaw in the argument.

Occam’s Razor has been mentioned on this forum many times. It just means the simplest answer is usually correct Think of the incredible size of this amazing universe and the billions of Earth like planets it contains. Think that the observable Universe all came from the same stuff as derived from the Big Bang. Consider the incredible age of 13.8 billion years. Think of the life force that is everywhere… and it’s relatively easy to concede alien races must exist and some are capable of interstellar travel.

My belief is that the recovered aliens from Roswell are simply EBEs… extraterrestrial biological entities. These creatures may also be clones developed by other advanced races and specially adapted for the purpose of exploring space.

It does not have to be demons or 'ultraterrestrials' capable of taking on whatever form they want. Since when do supernatural beings need spacecraft to take them where they want to go? That’s just a load of concocted Sci Fi nonsense with not a skerrick of proof to back it up. Remember Keel is a writer and likes to sell as many books as he can. I have read some of his stuff as well as similar books like ‘Gods Demons and UFOS’ by Eric Norman. Here, the only deception is from the authors.

Hi Searcher,
I do not find it beyond the realms of the possibility that Satan himself would allow the destruction and capture of these creatures to make it as believable as possible to humans to the existence of these so-called aliens he is after all the great deceiver.

Here is an interesting case of an alien being shot by a policeman and discovered dead by the air force base personnel.
UFOs were reported flying near the McGuire Air Force Base and nearby Fort Dix Base in Trenton, New Jersey, before state Police requested entry to investigate.

But the events which allegedly then unfolded go way beyond the traditional UFO sighting.

It is claimed a military police officer based at Fort Dix reported seeing "a low-flying object pass over his car" as he drove.

After braking, he claimed to see in front of his car "a small being with a large head, black eyes, and a very slender body".

He claims he panicked, got out of the car and pulled out a .45 automatic gun, before demanding the being lay on the floor.

But, after his request was ignored, he fired a number of shots.

The wounded creature is alleged to have jumped a fence into the McGuire base before heading down a runway.

But, according to the case, it then collapsed dead.

Sgt Jeff Morse is listed as a witness who allowed police access to the scene.

But it is alleged that this was a pseudonym he was given to avoid his true identity getting out.

According to omni.media, police found: "The body, crouched in a fetal position, not breathing.

"It was indeed dead. Shocked, but keeping with protocol, they began to rope off the area.

The creature was loaded onto a C-141 cargo aircraft and flown to Wright-Patterson airforce base in Dayton Ohio. This was the base the Roswell aliens were being housed.

One reason amongst others I believe these aliens to be demonic is when they discovered the body the investigators were unable to get within 12 feet of this entity because of the offensive, foul-smelling odour emitted. It is generally acknowledged that demons give off a disgusting, fetid smell.
John A Keel was a journalist turned investigator and had a lot of hands-on experience with cryptids especially as everybody knows his involvement with the Mothman phenomenon in Point Pleasent, West Virginia. I'm more inclined to listen to people who have recorded and witness such events. (detective)

G'day senses,
The Fort Dix alien being encounter is a really amazing story.
So much so, it deserves its own thread rather than being squeezed in with Roswell.
I'll start a seperate topic now.

Roswell is never far away from the spotlight... and neither is Donald Trump! They both came together in a news item in yesterday's Herald Sun.

President Trump says he has heard some interesting things about Roswell but he is not sharing, even with his eldest son. Mr Trump spoke in a Father's Day themed interview with his son Don Trump Jr, who wound down his interview by jokingly asking his father if he would ever divulge more details about the famous UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico.

The President responded: "I won't talk with you about what I know about it, but it's very interesting".

Draw your own conclusions. :)

I really liked that Rusty. Nice find!

The connections between Presidents of the United States and the Roswell incident has been a talking point all the way from Truman to Trump. It seems some leaders were better informed about UFOs and extraterrestrials than others. Eisenhower, Nixon, Carter and Reagan were rumoured to have had their own encounters.

There was a show I recently watched on the History Channel called 'UFOs - The White House Files'. Definitely worth a look as the Roswell connection to the Presidents is frequently discussed. It will be 'Alien Month' on Foxtel in July which is only about a week away, so you will almost certainly get a chance to see this documentary again.

Hey Searcher

No disrespect but I would believe much of what is taught on the History channel about the UFO Alien Phenomenon or any mainstream media for that matter, they tell you what they want you to hear not what you should know.

Just my opinion.

BTW good find Rusty I would be intrigued to know what he does know, but even what the president knows might not be the truth.

Something to think about I suppose.

G’day Dion,

It’s good to have opinions… helps make the world a more interesting place!

As for TV Documentaries on History, Discovery and National Geographic, they often contain good information such as believable eyewitness reports. That’s what I like to see and the reason I often watch. Editorial opinions are just that and are not hard to spot, so it becomes very easy to separate the real signal from the background noise.

The weight of evidence in cases like Roswell spread over seven decades and many, many first hand reports helps me make my own judgements on what actually occurred in New Mexico in July, 1947.

Yes Rusty, it would be really good to have all the answers!

Speculation abounds and there are so many rhetorical questions about Presidents. Like who killed JFK and why? And are there links to Marilyn Monroe’s murder? They were certainly very close. Who can forget her singing “Happy Birthday Mr President”.

I recall MM’s best friend saying “Jack told her things that would make your hair curl”. Could there be a connection to Roswell and the “keepers of the secret”? We may never know.

It is said President Kennedy wanted to release information about the alien presence on Earth. Bad move if that were true. The black government operatives who decide what is in the best interests of national security show no mercy or favours to anybody who threatens their clandestine, cloak and dagger regime.

There are also stories about President Nixon and his friend Jacky Gleason. That would be worthy of a separate post. Perhaps all of the above is just conjecture. Then again, it is fun to let the mind run free and form theories around the few known facts.
